This channel is dedicated to Michael Jackson. To the artist but above all to the man.
An extremely complex man, raised from the age of 5, and throughout his life, in the spotlight.
I would like to pay homage to the lesser known part of this man with a huge heart.
I would like to clarify some controversial aspects about him. The truth was totally distorted by the media.
It's a tribute to his immense heart, to his humanitarian and charitable commitment.
My name is Cristiana, I'm Italian and I've been a Michael Jackson fan since I was about 13 years old.
My love for him suddenly exploded after watching his Bad video, the extended version, in 1997. I was blown away.
Then over the years I never stopped following him but after his death I discovered a Michael I didn't know. I discovered a person that few know, only those who really love him know.
My purpose is to make known who Michael Jackson really was, to clarify disputes about him and make the man as well as the artist known.

The reason why Michael Jackson never celebrated Christmas
The Jacksons themselves didn't celebrate Christmas, as they were raised as Jehovah's Witnesses.
Despite his charitable work and sense of duty to help those in need, Michael Jackson himself never celebrated Christmas.
So why didn't he celebrate on 25th December?
The Jackson 5 released a Christmas album, but didn't observe the holiday themselves.
Strangely enough, many people would immediately associate Michael Jackson with Christmas because he actually sang songs about Christmas.
Earlier in his career with The Jackson 5, before he struck out to pursue a solo career, he recorded an entire Christmas album with his brothers for Motown Records.
In 1970, The Jackson 5 released the Jackson 5 Christmas Album, which featured covers of 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town' and 'I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus'.
They've become sure-fire festive classics – nowadays, it wouldn't feel like Christmas if you didn't hear Michael's voice beaming over the radio.
It was Motown's decision to get the Jackson brothers to record a Yuletide album, as the majority of their fanbase were thought to have identified as Baptist Christians, so it was made for them.
The Jacksons themselves didn't celebrate Christmas, as they were raised as Jehovah's Witnesses.
Michael was with the Jehovah's Witness church well into the 80s when his fame and fortune were rocketing.
Throughout this time, he'd seldom celebrate his birthday as that wasn't allowed by the church.
So despite Michael's link to Christmas, it was a holiday that wasn't a focal point of his annual calendar.
Much to the sadness of his fans, many of them hoped Michael would record a Christmas song later in his career.
There might have been a chance of that, however, as in 1993, Michael did in fact celebrate Christmas Day for the very first time.
Michael's long-time friend Elizabeth Taylor changed that by hosting a traditional Christmas at his Neverland home.
Hoping he'd love the magic and merriment of Christmas, she transformed his home into a Winter Wonderland.
She literally decked the halls with bows of holly, gorgeous Christmas trees and all sorts of decorations.
Promising to make the day as magical as possible for her best friend, Elizabeth made sure that they documented their time together with a home video.
As the video shows, Michael was overjoyed by Elizabeth's gesture, exclaiming how much he values his friendship with her.
He didn't celebrate Christmas until that day, though he took Elizabeth a long time to convince him that he'd love it.
"It is 1993 and this will be Michael Jackson’s very first Christmas," she explained. "It has taken me, I would think about five years of talking him into celebrating Christmas at Neverland.”
When he quit being a Jehovah’s Witness, I said to Michael ‘I think Christmas is a wonderful way of celebrating love,” she continued.
“It’s a celebration of love and I can’t see Christmas without Michael or Michael without Christmas.”
Throughout the home video, it's clear that Michael was overjoyed about getting to celebrate a holiday that he was previously forbidden from.
But even after he stopped practising as a Jehovah's Witness, the guilt still affected him.
Reportedly, he was so overwhelmingly happy on the Christmas Day he spent with Elizabeth Taylor that he felt so guilty about it, locking himself in the bathroom whilst he broke down crying.
It just showed the amount of pain he must have suffered as a child, not being able to celebrate a traditional childhood as an American kid due to his faith and his astronomical fame.
Whilst it's incredibly sad, at least he got to experience some of the magic of Christmas, in what was no doubt one of the highlights of his life.

Xyana ღ In Loving Memory of Michael Jackson
This is a tribute video released by mixing Michael Jackson's Ghosts and Thriller and using Rockwell's song "Somebody's Watching Me" as the backing track. Produced by Curtis Anthony Nolen, the song features backing vocals by Michael, Randy and Jermaine Jackson, with Alan Murray on percussion.
Somebody's Watching Me is a song recorded and written by American singer Rockwell, released by the Motown label in December 1983, as the lead single from his debut studio album of the same name.
Music video
The music video depicts Rockwell at his home taking a shower and having illusions of his every move being surreptitiously recorded by a video camera. Other scenes in the video include Rockwell in a cemetery, the tap water in the shower stall spraying blood, and him having his mail delivered by a mailman who appears to be alive, but is, in fact, undead. The video ends with the mailman handing Rockwell a package, but whether this is a moment of danger or just an unsettling interaction remains ambiguous.
The song became a major commercial success internationally, Rolling Stone magazine called the song "an international and enduring smash hit that, more than 30 years later, remains the perennial paranoia-rock anthem and Halloween mix go-to song."
The song is in the key of C-sharp minor, with 4 time, and vocals spanning from C♯4 to C♯5.
Background and composition
Kennedy William Gordy, known as Rockwell, is the son of Berry Gordy, founder of Motown Records. He is believed to have used a pseudonym so as to approach Motown incognito and avoid accusations of nepotism being leveled at his father—who reportedly was surprised at his son securing a contract. At the time of the recording, Rockwell was estranged from his father and living with Ray Singleton, his father's ex-wife and the mother of his older half-brother, Kerry Gordy. Singleton served as executive producer on the project and would occasionally play demo tracks to Berry Gordy, who was less than enthusiastic about Rockwell's music until he heard the single with Michael Jackson's familiar voice featuring prominently on background vocals.
He wrote Somebody's Watching Me in two days. The song is based on a personal memory of a neighbor who constantly watched him from his window. It also mentions an ex-girlfriend whom he liked to scare, as a joke, by stealing silently into the bathroom while she was washing her hair in the shower and suddenly pressing his face against the shower's side. Rockwell, whose sister Hazel is married to Jermaine Jackson, then traveled to Encino to play his new creation his brother-in-law's family. Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine in 2016, he said: "I performed it about eight or nine times... Michael says, 'Hey Rebbie! Hey Janet! You gotta hear this song Kennedy did.' Every time we stopped the song, Michael called three more people down. Afterwards, Michael pulled me to the side and says, `Kennedy, I gotta talk to you for a second. Who are you going to get to sing background vocals?' I said, 'Why don't you do it?' It worked just like that." Rockwell added that Jermaine also added his voice to the song's final version. Bizarrely, though, only Michael Jackson's voice can be heard in Somebody's Watching Me. The song, considered an example of "paranoid pop," was released as a single and was a resounding success. A video, made by Francis Delia, supported the song's theme and promotion. The clip followed in the spooky, creepy footsteps of the Thriller short film.
FOR JACKSON ADDICTS
The instrumental version of this song on a maxi single extended the song to 5'26.
The mailman has a cameo in Rockwell's next video Obscene Phone Caller.

Michael Jackson Talks About Thriller | MTV Interview 1999 ♥ღ ~#xyanaღILMOMJ
A wonderful interview from 1999 with Michael comfortably talking about the ‘Thriller’ years. Michael seems very at ease throughout the interview, laughing lots.
Michael Jackson's "Thriller" proved to be not only a watershed moment for a then two-year-old MTV, but arguably the crowning jewel of the music video age. In direct contrast to the simplistic videos permeating MTV at the time, "Thriller" was in essence a short film, complete with a budget of more than a half-million dollars. The near 14-minute epic unlocked the unlimited possibilities of music video, while helping to cement the viability of the medium.
While Jackson was the main star of "Thriller" (in addition to his starring role, his credits included co-producer, co-writer and co-choreographer), he received many assists from an all-star team. The video was directed and co-produced by film veteran John Landis (Animal House, The Blues Brothers), and featured co-star model/actress Ola Ray and a cast of exquisitely costumed monsters, additional music from Elmer Bernstein and creepy narration from horror legend Vincent Price. (Credit is also due to the writer of the song, Rod Temperton, and producer Quincy Jones.)
The plot finds Jackson and his date, Ray, in a theater watching themselves on screen in Price's Thriller, a fictional '50s-style horror flick. As the gory camp climax nears, Ray becomes frightened and rushes out, with Jackson following. The couple leaves the theater and waltzes past a graveyard as the anticipation mounts. Midnight is close at hand as a gaggle of grizzly ghouls emerge from the fog. The couple is surrounded, and Jackson actually turns into one of them. But Jackson and his pals aren't your typical zombies, as they proceed to display the hottest moves this side of Flashdance.

This is the first part of a video dedicated to the story behind the song: Dangerous by Michael Jackson.
"Dangerous" is a song by American singer and recording artist Michael Jackson. The song appeared as the fourteenth and final track on Jackson's album of the same name, released in November 1991. Written and composed by Jackson, Bill Bottrell and Teddy Riley, the song was planned to be released as the tenth single from the album. However, these plans were cancelled due to allegations of child sexual abuse which were made against Jackson in August 1993 and Jackson's health concerns. "Dangerous" is a new jack swing song which also incorporates industrial music.
Prior to the planned release of the song, "Dangerous" received a positive reaction from contemporary critics in reviews of the track's parent album. Although it has not been released as a single, "Dangerous" entered music charts in mid-2009 after Jackson's death in June.
In 1994, songwriter Crystal Cartier alleged that Jackson, Bottrell and Riley had plagiarized "Dangerous". At the subsequent court hearing the judge ruled in favor of Jackson, Bottrell, and Riley, due to lack of evidence; Cartier was refused the right to appeal her case.
Near the end of Dangerous: The Short Films, the song is played over footage of various performances during his Dangerous World Tour. The live performances of "Dangerous" remained a staple of Jackson's concerts since the third leg of the tour. "Dangerous" was a song that involved group choreography, similar to "Smooth Criminal", which also appears as part of the mix in later performances.

This is a video dedicated to one of Michael Jackson's most iconic dances. The song is "Dangerous," which is also the title of his 1991 album Dangerous.
I love this choreography, so I decided to create a live mix of his stunning performances, taken from his History Tour concerts and his awards show performances.
"Dangerous" is the title track from Michael Jackson's 1991 album of the same name, written by Jackson, Bill Bottrell, and Teddy Riley. The song combines pop, new jack swing, and rock elements with a strong bassline and energetic rhythm, exploring themes of seduction. It is known for its elaborate production, dynamic instrumentation, and a distinctive, intricate music video.
