Hi, I'm Peternity. I make "funny" memes.

Was previously known as Peter Explains The Joke, but changed my name in October 2019 due to the meme becoming stale and dead.

My name is a combination of "Peter" and "Eternity". There's no hidden meaning behind it or anything, i just think it sounds good.

All I know is that I'll be making shitty content for all Peternity.

Hello hello it has been a while. One whole year without posting. I have spent more or less the past three years in a loop of losing interest in making content, coming back with a promise to post a shitload of videos and leaving like 3 tiny poop nuggets (poop nuggets are videos in this allegory) then leaving again. But last year, I left again for the last time. It might be obvious considering the massive gap in uploads, but I just do not have the passion I once had for making content anymore. I have new priorities, new passions, and YouTube just isn't one of them anymore. Maybe one day it will be, and I'm not saying this is goodbye forever, but I figured a post like this would stop the few of you left from being left in the dark.

I just want to say an honest thank you to everyone who watched my videos and subscribed to my stupid channel over the years, it was a great 5 years of posting thanks to you guys; I'll admit, I bowed to the algorithm at times and made some videos that I wasn't really proud of, but seeing people enjoy the stupid shit I have made has always been and will always be a great source of joy for me. I'm happy to have made you smile, or frown, or make any other facial expression I don't know man I can't see you behind the screen. I would do it all again if I could, and I hope everyone reading this goes on to live amazing lives.

HOWEVER..... This isn't the end of the channel, necessarily. As some of you may know, there have always been 2 people behind this channel. I've made the majority of the videos so far, but there's always been another guy helping with concepts and whether videos are actually funny. He's still here, and doesn't plan on leaving like my stupid ass, so this channel will likely continue to see activity. He plans on uploading gaming-style videos, which I understand is a contrast from what I've posted so I completely understand if you don't want to watch this channel anymore. I hope you can give him a chance though, he's cool :sunglasses:

I'll allow for some democracy though, due to how sudden this is, so I will leave you with a poll which can be seen below. Thank you all, and for now, this is it from me.
