Have a wonderful holiday season y’all! Thank you for your support throughout this year, and I will try to keep making content that y’all love in the new year!
They’re doing a crowdfund for their third Core rulebook! The game has been out for a while now, and I’m in love with it, so if you wanna get into the game and support MCDM, I’d highly recommend this backerkit. There’s a pledge add-on option that lets you order the previous two core books as well!
And full disclosure, (most) player-facing rules are gonna be available for free online via Steel Compendium or Forge Steel. So please play around with it and figure out if the game’s for you! It’s great for anyone who’s into tactical combat and cinematic non-combat “medieval-ish” fantasy games, which is… most of y’all, I imagine lol.
Something I’ve been thinking about lately is how much of my audience is experienced with PF2E / plays it regularly, versus how many relative newbies I get on my channel. It’ll help inform which of my video ideas I prioritize in the near future (for instance: converting D&D was aimed at newbies but didn’t do so well so I figured most of y’all aren’t newbies). Wanna see if I have an accurate estimate of my audience or not.
Been having a LOT of fun playing a very weird melee Druid with the Mauler Archetype lately, and it got me thinking: would y’all be interested in seeing a “weird but good” builds series? Not gonna be the majority of the programming on this channel, maybe one video every couple months or so.
Here is the airbursting chart for anyone who wants it for quick reference on their phone or printout.
I made a minor correction to it since last time: a lot of commenters pointed out that Medium-sized creatures are not 2D, they still occupy a cube, so I needed all numbers moved down by one row relative to the chart I gave in the video. The math is still the same, just offset in the right place.
Edit: minor addition I realized I didn’t make clear. These usages of the Pythagoras theorem are still ultimately upper bounded approximations meant to make the game faster to run. If you drew out a 30-foot burst, then counted down the middle of it and then took the diameter of the bottom square you counted to, you’d actually sometimes get *smaller* bursts than these, but that’s time consuming. This gives you an approximation to quickly use.
The first of my members-only guides is live folks! This one will be covering Elemental Sorcerers. It is currently only done for levels 1-9, the rest is coming soon. The next guide will be for Silence in Snow Witches, and there will be more in the future! (Not just blaster casters, all sorts of tactical guides)
If you would like to view the full guides, please consider joining a channel membership. If you want a preview of the sort of content you'd be getting, please message me on Discord or Reddit, I will share a preview of it! The below screenshot is just a teaser.
Gonna be heading out for a vacation soon folks! Won’t be back for a couple weeks BUT I’m trying to record as much stuff as possible for the coming weeks so y’all don’t miss me too, too much.
There’s definitely a video coming later this week. I have a handful of shorts and MAYBE one more video coming out in the next little bit, and then once I’m back from my trip there’ll be plenty more content to come.

Sorry for the long hiatus folks. There won’t be a video this week, unfortunately, but I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to have one out by late next week!

The Guardian video was delayed a little bit unfortunately, due to work getting too busy.
Stay tuned! It’ll be out soon.
