The most impressive video upscaler you have ever seen is usually the first video upscaler you have ever seen.

And then I spent the holidays testing ‪@topazlabs‬ newest offering from Astra, Precise 2.

I take it back. This is the most impressive video upscaler I have ever seen.

I was super fortunate to do my first Youtube collaboration with ‪@topazlabs‬ for this video. They were extremely helpful when I was doing all of my testing. Answering all of my endless questions, not to mention hooking me up with enough credits to really take this impressive new model for a proper spin.

The second video I ever created for my channel was about the ‪@Kling_ai‬ motion control beta test all the way back in July. Well motion control just launched again for the new 2.6 model, and it is very impressive so far. Most notably for the new motion control’s ability to track facial movement and expressions, which I saw hints of during my beta testing.


Overall the basic functionality has not changed. So if you are on the lookout for a ‪@Kling_ai‬ motion control tutorial, the one I created over the summer should get you caught right up to speed, including a deep dive on the particularly confusing functionality of the video vs image camera orientation feature.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! In the Spirit of high calorie desserts, here's "Cupcake Choir", my entry into this year's ‪@openart_ai‬ Music Video and ‪@chromaawards‬ Awards. The music is from ‪@Elevenlabs‬ , and most of the video footage is from a combination of ‪@Google‬'s Veo 3.1 and ‪@Kling_ai‬ 2.5 Turbo. ‪@excelerator‬ described it as "PG-unhinged", which is the single best description of the piece I have seen so far.
