Welcome to the channel! Running shoe reviews after real miles, not just a first steps spec reading & hyping you up just to sell you to buy.
No fluff, just straight-up insights on fit, ride, and whether a shoe is actually worth your money. If a shoe deserves the hype, you'll know. If it's bad, you'll know.
Running shoes are our tools. Respect the sport & community first before consumerism. Running, fitness (your body), the people/community matter more than hype, trends.

Well… life happened.
Got back into running and lifting, locked into a routine again last few months, at least the days I could lock in since marathon training is coming up. New job, pretty demanding. My lady Dachshund just gave birth (Blue isn’t the dad 😅). Picking up poop, wiping the floors while behind on deadlines.
So yeah… I stepped back from the whole shoe thing for a bit.
Haven’t been scrolling Shopee, haven’t been checking new releases. Just been on autopilot, I didn't ever have to think what shoe to wear, just grabbing my go to shoes or whatever is on top of the rack. No overthinking, no rotations, just running.
That said… I did pick up the Xtep 2000km Pro.
So far, I’ve got some good things to say. Mostly because it’s cheap and expectations aren’t crazy but I haven’t put enough kilometers in yet to really talk about it properly, again was on autopilot, never thought to use it for review, was just always on my peripheral vision.
Been actually reading comments about it so I do have opinions about those. Let's just say it's funny enough reading them.. when you stop thinking about shoes, the foams, what's trending etc.. you realize what actually works. Remove the "unnecessary" knowledge and influence from others & marketing, just run on it and keep getting better everyday. It's just a shoe.
Anyway....
Honestly, the past few months got me to learn something:
Deadlines, pressures, on the go etc.. You think you just need to run but when you run all those are what's in my head so that quote or line that goes "running is my form of escape" isn't true. lol..
I’ll get back to proper reviews soon.

Came in flat, came out pumped.
It's been a lot last two weeks, bummed there wasn't much activities I could do. I forgot I still have a gym subscription 😆
Still at same 62 point something kg but am flatter, so had some muscle loss & gained some fat.
Really need to get back on track, run 6x a week, lift at least 2-3x a week to not waste my monthly payments.
Gastritis is back again (no ulcers this time so no pain) because haven't been eating properly.
Gotta get back at it as I should be true to what I always keep saying... Keep running, stay fit/strong & always be kind. 😊

Just looked at my analytics and found something cool: Facebook is now my #2 traffic source. Thanks to everyone who’s shared my videos! I don't think my videos are posted by others but likely shared through Meta Apps? Anyway. A huge thank you to anyone who has shared my videos, it really helps.
This channel has always been a side hobby, so I’m happy with any growth regardless of it being slow, I know I'm busy at times so I'm not at it 100%. I always thought I would never care but somehow seeing 840 subscribers now has me truly excited to reach that 1,000 subs milestone.
I don't think I can even speak in front of 20-50 people, It’s humbling to see hundreds of people watch each day. It's around 600-1000 but usually most tune out after 10-30sec, but it still means that even if only 10% retain, that's a good chunk, still in the hundreds.
I’m not a natural speaker, so it’s amazing to see hundreds of views daily. The editing helps masks my lack of talent but it’s still a milestone I never expected.
I'm far from that but this still feels like a personal victory. I never imagined that even if it's 10% that would stick around, that means hundreds of you I'm talking to.
Sincerely, thank you to everyone who tunes in. It means more than you know.

This seems interesting, low-key but probably the biggest piece of sports business news this year (yeah I know, it's just been a month entering 2026) China's Anta Sports. A brand we all know and review here, has just bought a huge 29% stake in Puma for a whopping $1.8 billion.
www.reuters.com/business/retail-consumer/chinas-an…
Puma's been struggling. They're losing ground to Nike and Adidas, and some recent sneaker launches haven't hit the mark. Their share price was near a 10-year low. They desperately need a win, especially in the massive Chinese market. Anta has been revamping Western brands for China. They own Fila and are the biggest shareholder of Amer Sports (who own Arc'teryx and Salomon). They saw Puma's weakness in China, only 7% of Puma's global revenue comes from there and will probably fix that. They're not taking over the whole company (they've ruled that out), but they will get seats on Puma's board.
This could mean way more focus on performance running and basketball tech that resonates in Asia for Puma & for Anta? This gives them instant global credibility and a pipeline of classic Puma styles (think Suedes, Clydes) that they can optimize with their own material science.
Think of Salomon now, they've slowly been hitting it positively with their new daily trainers for road running. Puma has established their running shoes but they haven't been expanding much unlike Nike's Vomero, Pegasus now with Plus, Premium variants. Adidas creating a new line like the Supernova & SL series but still have the Adios & Boston. There's been more models competing within a brand now.
Anta, I guess like Chinese mobile phones keep pumping out year after year of models with expanded lineups within a certain line, some new in just a year. They have the c202 line, now expanded. The PG7 foams in the G21 line with it's own lineup, Travel series with it's own lineups from, Journey, Float etc.. all with their own models.. Really confusing, right?
For sneakers? I dunno, I've just been a Puma Suede collector way back, not really into the sneakerhead community. I dunno what's in store there, Anta's casual stuff doesn't really appeal to me.
I don't know how to end this. So..... Keep running, stay fi... you know it.
Image not from article. It's my AI slop. Just needed one quickly. Don't have time to edit.

I haven't been running a lot last week, just getting back at it now. I made a mistake prior, after joining a 42k just as a long run, no serious mileage leading up to it then just ran it slow, walks, ate a lot along the way, I should have rested. Well, because I wasn't exhausted, I felt pretty good I went hard at the gym more days than usual, did my usual mileage as well instead of dropping them. Now I feel burned. Giving it a rest a few days & time to make my first impressions.
Will it be better than the W3TR?
Is it on par with the Yueying 5 for stability & cushion?
All rounder OR not good at other types of runs but king of easy runs?
I'll probably gather most of my experience & put them for the final review. For this upcoming video of the first impressions, I won't add those answers yet. They're more of assumptions for now. BUT, I am selling my PG7 Ultra, Fierce Max & other shoes because I am contented with this one. This is just pleasant on easy, while those other shoes are a bit better than this one in picking up the pace, I haven't been using them for faster runs anyway. I've been using my plated shoes more for faster stuff.

Man, the @TheFODRunner just reviewed this yesterday. https://youtu.be/x_UbQHJ3hdU?si=Z28m6...
At the same time the price of the Feidan Challenger 5 went down to P1969 on shopee or around $32 usd. (10.10 Shopee sale). Thanks to a buddy from reddit letting me know about it.
If you're thinking about getting the Yueying 5 Pro for faster/uptempo stuff plus long runs, I think you'll be getting more for the money spent with the Feidan 5. #Lining

Someone asked about the stability issues they read on the Wind 3 TR — and also about neutral vs. stability shoes, and who actually needs true stability shoes. They saw a video so I also checked it (ground contact time, form) then I read the comments, might have stalked some folks to see they might have posted some of their running.
After that, here’s what I said:
Just because you pronate or supinate doesn’t automatically mean you need stability shoes. A lot of people just naturally pronate or supinate, that’s normal. The ones who truly over-pronate or over-supinate already know it, they’re not the ones asking about neutral shoes in the comments.
Most of the complaints you see online usually come from runners who are sore & have related the soreness to the shoe instead of other factors like their load, intensity etc.. their form might have sucked coz of underlying fatigue or their new & form will improve overtime, some just need to fix their form period.
Some just have some strength issues like a weak back (posterior chain like back to glutes, hams, calves). Some have form issues, they have more ground contact time, not efficient stride to cadence. Some have musclular imbalances, they've become stronger somewhere & other parts can't keep up. All the above means not necessarily the shoe is unstable.
Sometimes the phrase “it’s not the shoe, it’s you” really fits. A shoe doesn't run on it's own. Plus, some runners do need real stability shoes, but that’s a smaller group than you might think & again they're not the ones complaining in the comments as they're not their to check out a neutral shoe to begin with.
So, take every comment with context. Be skeptical — if they share videos, check their form. We all run differently, and what doesn’t work for someone else might work perfectly for you or vice-versa.
