Some stories are hard to sit through not because they’re shocking, but because they feel real.
Forced conversions. Child marriages. Blasphemy accusations that change lives in an instant. Not headlines. Not statistics. Real people, real situations.
In this conversation with Nikhil Chandwani, we try to understand what these experiences actually look like from the inside beyond what we usually hear.
As the conversation unfolds, it stops feeling like separate incidents…and starts feeling like something much deeper and more connected.
And in the middle of it all are people figuring out how to live, cope, and hold on to who they are.
This isn’t an easy watch.
But it’s an important one.

Happiness is actually very simple.
We just complicate it all the time!
I don’t even think happiness is a feeling anymore… I think it’s a skill. And like any skill, you can learn it.
For me, it’s the smallest things - a good coffee, a drive with music, one great song…and the whole day shifts.
Yes, I have big ambitions.
But I don’t postpone happiness till I achieve them.
What I’ve really trained myself to do is switch…
from negative to neutral, and then to positive.
Because no matter how bad a situation is,
there’s always a small silver lining.
It doesn’t work when you force it.
It works when you train it.
You feel things, you process them…
but over time, you learn how not to stay stuck.
In psychology, this is called Cognitive Reframing.
In philosophy, Stoicism says the same control your response, not the situation.
And spiritually, the Bhagavad Gita talks about acceptance and surrender.
And the simplest hack?
Whatever happens, just tell yourself “This is God’s plan.”
Not as an escape, but as trust.
That something better is being shaped for you.
And when you start believing that…happiness doesn’t feel that difficult anymore.

Everyone has goals.
But not everyone has their own aspirations.
Sometimes we chase things just because others are chasing them.
But the things that make you different are the ones that feel truly yours.
The ones you don't need to explain.
When you start focusing on that, you stop comparing.
You just keep going in your own direction.
One thing I remind myself:
It's not about being better than others.
It's about being true to what you really want.

Meet Aaditya Raj Kaul, the journalist whose research made Dhurandhar feel straight out of real life!
Kaul has spent years tracking stories most people only hear about.
From investigating the IC-814 hijacking for 3 years,
to working around developments like the Abrogation of Article 370,
this isn’t surface-level research it’s lived, verified, and built over time.
That’s why the film doesn’t just feel detailed.
It feels informed.
If you want to understand the mind behind that layer
the podcast is live now.

Everyone sees the outcome.
The clarity. The confidence. The way it all comes together so seamlessly.
But what they don’t see
is the constant thinking behind it.
The endless brainstorming.
The moments of doubt that don’t get posted.
It’s the nights that stretch longer than planned,
the discipline to keep going even when nothing feels certain,
the patience to trust a process that isn’t giving instant results.
Because real growth doesn’t announce itself.
It builds quietly.
In consistency. In repetition. In showing up without needing validation.
There are no guarantees here.
No fixed timeline. No clear signs that it’s working.
Just a belief
that if you keep refining, keep learning, keep pushing…
something shifts.
And one day, what people call “success”
looks effortless to them
but you know it was never that.
It was built in the unseen.

Not every day feels the same.
Some days test you, some days flow with ease.
But what truly shapes your day is your mindset.
Show up with the same belief, the same intent every single day.
And even the hardest days begin to feel lighter.
Because when your mindset is right, any day can be a beautiful one.

Creating a balance between work and life sounds simple.
Some days, work takes over everything.
Other days, you realise you haven’t paused in a while.
And that’s when it hits you.
Balance is not something you achieve once.
It’s something you keep adjusting.
It’s in the small choices.
Knowing when to push harder…
and knowing when to step back.
Spending time with people who matter.
Giving yourself space to breathe.
Because at the end of it,
what’s the point of building something big
if you don’t have the time to live it?
One thing I keep reminding myself:
Work is a part of life.
It should never become the whole of it.

Everyone talks about results. Very few fall in love with the process.
When you begin something new, it rarely moves at the pace you imagined.
It feels slow. Uncertain. Sometimes even disappointing.
There are days when quitting feels more logical than continuing.
But that’s exactly where most people go wrong.
Because success is not built in moments of excitement, it is built in moments of doubt, when you still choose to show up.
Trust the process.
Consistency is not glamorous.
It is quiet, repetitive, and often invisible.
But it is also the most powerful force you will ever have. If you stay consistent long enough, results become inevitable.
And when they come, they won’t just meet your expectations, they will exceed them.
They will open doors you never even knew existed.
Here’s the truth most people don’t realize:
The process gives you far more than what you give to it.
It shapes you.
It strengthens you.
It prepares you for the success you are chasing.
So on the days when motivation fades…
On the days when nothing seems to work…
Pause.
Ask yourself one simple question:
“Why did I start?”
And then keep going.

I can say this very honestly: if you miss this conversation, you’ll miss the story behind Gujarat’s most successful comedy show.
Sometimes the best investment you can make… is spending time understanding what really goes behind the laughs.
My conversation with the team of The Comedy Factory goes deep, from tiny rooms with 60 strangers to sold-out 3,000-seater theaters in the US, and everything in between.
What makes this episode exceptional is the energy, the stories, and the honesty.
You’ll hear how a simple “To-Do List” after marriage sparked a comedy revolution, why Lavari isn’t just scripted, it’s 3 AM friendship energy, and what really happened when they heard gunshots outside their Airbnb in the US.
We also talk about the partnership model for artists, handling internal fights, and what the future of Gujarati movies looks like through their lens.
Even if you’re not a regular Lavari viewer, this is a masterclass in consistency, friendship, and the art of the hustle.
Trust me, this is one conversation you cannot afford to miss.
Podcast is out now.

Honored to be invited to the British Parliament to represent India and deliver a talk on the future of the India–UK Partnership & The Modern Commonwealth. 🇮🇳✨
It was a proud moment to stand in the HOUSE OF COMMONS and represent YOUNG BHARAT 🇮🇳🚀
In 1949, India helped give the Commonwealth a new identity. Today, I believe it’s time to shape its next version. And only India can lead this transformation.
I proposed 4 bold ideas for the Modern Commonwealth:
1. India–UK Green Commonwealth Pact
The UK brings strong green finance. India brings scale in renewable energy. Together, we can help the entire Commonwealth move to clean energy—faster.
2. One Digital Payments System for the Commonwealth
India already has one of the most advanced digital payment systems in the world. Instead of every country building from scratch, we can work together and help all Commonwealth nations achieve financial inclusion quickly.
3. Real Education Exchange
Not just Indian students going abroad, but students from the UK and other countries coming to India as well. That’s how cultures truly connect and learn from each other.
4. A Commonwealth for Peace and Humanity
At a time when the world feels divided, India and the UK can lead by example, showing what trust, partnership, and mutual respect can achieve.
I also spoke about the shared history between India and the UK honestly and respectfully.
But I made one thing clear: India today does not seek apology. India seeks partnership.
India now represents more than half of the Commonwealth’s population and contributes 80% of its GDP growth.
With growing global influence, India has the strength and responsibility to help shape what comes next
This was not just about giving a speech. It was about sharing a vision from YOUNG BHARAT.
And that direction is clear: the future of the Commonwealth will be built with fresh ideas, strong partnerships, and the energy of the next generation.
