Italian girl making analysis and video essays on TV series, films and pop culture on YouTube

I'm personally tired of #Severance video focused on outlandish theories - they're either all the same or don't add anything to the experience of watching the show. I've been working on this deep analysis for months now and hopefully it will be something different from what you've already seen or heard about the show.

Here's a cheeky one liner idea for what each chapter focuses on:

0:31–6:00 – Chapter 1: The Role of Emotions
Emotions aren’t a glitch — they’re the code

6:01–9:19 – Chapter 2: The Ultimate Anesthetic
Comfort is the cage - Work hard, stay numb

9:20–11:46 – Chapter 3: The Role of Colors
Fifty shades of corporate gray

11:47–18:18 – Chapter 4: The Ego and the Shadow(s)
What if your worst self wasn’t hidden — but hired?

18:19–23:20 – Chapter 5: Non-People
You’re not fired — you were never really hired

23:21–28:21 – Chapter 6: Thresholds and Non-Places
Welcome to Nowhere, population: you

28:22–34:25 – Chapter 7: Revolutions of Self
Freedom begins with a flicker

I sometimes get comments asking me to make some "recommendations" type of videos, or videos that are a bit more informal. Would you be interested to see a video ranking EVERYTHING I've watched in 2024 (spoiler: it's a lot) with some quick one-liner reviews?

Some of the shows I'm either thinking about to make next videos on or I'm done with the script of are the following. What are your favorites?

*New video* A super in-depth exploration of the prequel and sequel to The Platform. Unfortunately, Netflix had initially blocked this video worldwide and I'm currently disputing fair use. I'm not sure if and how long this video will stay up and YouTube's algorithm typically doesn't pick up videos in disputes so this has far less views than it could have achieved.

Although I don't have this channel for views, it's a bit depressing to see, considering the big effort that goes into each one of my videos. As per usual, I don't publish as fast as many other channels, I value quality over quantity and you will see that we will go more and more deep with each chapter, with a final discussion of the politics of the films and what they are trying to communicate.

All things that according to "experts" of the algorithm are wrong - but I find it quite useless and demeaning to everyone who may be watching, to just recap the film or show, or provide a basic analysis. If I have nothing interesting to say about something that adds on current conversations around it, I'd rather not say anything at all! That's what this channel has always been about. And that's why sometimes requests are hard to follow up on *goes hide*

Do you guys like that about this channel or would you prefer more content that is less "analysis-heavy"?

I will publish soon another update with some films/shows I plan to make next videos on, in the meantime go and watch "The Platform 1 & 2 Definitive Explanation" if you haven't already! #theplatform #theplatform2
