The New School of Nutritional Medicine

At the New School, we teach our students to look at cellular levels of magnesium (and other minerals) as well as blood levels.

We are electric beings; minerals are the spark plugs of our biochemistry, and they cannot be brushed off just because their blood levels are ‘within range’.

If you are ready to understand the body beyond surface-level understanding and learn how to interpret what’s going on beneath the ‘numbers’…

Most people avoid conflict to keep the peace…

Why?

Because most of us were never taught how to work through conflict.

Even though conflict is part of life, it doesn’t just go away…

Conflict can influence our relationships, our stress levels, and ultimately our health far more than we tend to realise.

Our new blog is out now! www.newschoolofnutrition.com/post/why-conflict-fee…

If you avoid conflict or believe it’s unhealthy, this blog is for you.

Catching every cold going around?

The innate immune system is the body’s first line of defence. But it does not work alone. It constantly communicates with other systems in the body, including the more sophisticated immune system (aka the adaptive immune system).

This communication needs to be clear and precise for the immune system to work at its optimum.

Toxins can interfere with this conversation. These toxins can come from medications, environmental chemicals, infections, or even from normal metabolic processes within the body.

This is why detoxification systems such as the liver and gallbladder also play an important role in immune resilience.

Interested to learn more? Our Innate Immune System blog is a great place to start.

But if you would like to dive deeper, Khush has created a comprehensive course in which she teaches about the immune system in much greater depth.

Across 20 modules, 88 videos and almost 14 hours of teaching, you will learn how the immune system really works and how different systems in the body influence immune function.

The New School of Nutritional Medicine

It is that time of the year
In some parts of the world, there is Halloween, there is Diwali, there is Thanksgiving, there is Hanukkah.
Which means the bodily terrain will be somewhat challenged.
The terrain is like the ‘soil’ of your body. Your cells, that includes brain cells too, your hormones, your immune cells, your microbiome, your gut wall, your mucus membranes, your skin, your ear wax, and your snotty nose, all require nutrients, nutrients that are vital for day-to-day healthy living.
We know that during this ‘flu’ season, the number of antibiotics prescribed increase, the sale of Tylenol/Paracetamol increases, and the number of sick days increase.
Some even end up in bed sick at the start of the new year. We don’t want that for you? We want you to have a healthy winter with or without the flu, with or without ‘nutrient robbers’.
We have put together a Flu Season e-Guide, so you can enjoy your health through this season. It covers how you can nourish your terrain, and we are not selling probiotics, vitamin D supplementation, or the like. We are giving you some free recipes, free education and some super tips on how to ride through this ‘winter’ season.
The goal of the Flu Season Guide is not to avoid getting the flu as that is not how the body works. If your body needs to detox or have a clear out, it will do a FLU, that is up to the innate wisdom of your body.
BUT, you CAN REDUCE the severity and the recovery time of the flu, by implementing the wonderful educational information in our Flu Season Guide.
Wishing you are healthy winter.
