Hello wonderful peeps. I found out today after scheduling tonight's live that I need to be somewhere at 7:30 tomorrow morning so we need to move this live to Friday night, sorry about that! It will be fun though, please take the extra time to gather your own notes about abandoned places around East Tennessee that we can cover! We're really looking forward to everyone's ideas! See you all Friday night!

Regarding our intentions: I want to make this very clear and the best way to do it is with an example.
We went to Steve Cloyds memorial service in Jonesboro to film it and publish it in as beautiful a way as we possibly could for the Cloyds. I knew it wouldn't get a ton of views but that wasn't the point of it - we'd taken 2 months off our other cases to expose a scammer who was taking advantage of Ms. Cloyd and "lost" one of her husbands cherished items. Keli included Jen and I in her small inner circle she calls her "Army of Angels" and we will feel forever blessed to know her.
We treat each family we work with this way - Nicole Parsons, the mother of Ethan Boyt who is still missing - we speak frequently. Sometimes they just need someone to call and vent to late at night. We don't try to be advocates but we do try to be a friend when they need one.
These people who meet us - they know what we're about. It's easy on the internet to assume ill intent of everyone. There ARE people with ill intent so you can't blame people for that. But as one of my favorite managers told me years ago, always start with heart.
We do what we do out of love for people, and especially to get answers for those who are no longer here and can't stand up for themselves. We aren't perfect at it but we're better than we were, and always improving. We will never give up on them, because we do this for them. It's as simple as that.

We heard so many stories about a legendary cavern system undernearh Laurel Run Park in Hawkins County Tennessee. After two years of searching for those caves we finally discovered evidence this weekend that it's real. More to come.

Cast your vote to help clean up YouTube and help transform it into a more ethical space. It won't fix all the problems but it's a good first step. Please share this petition widely: c.org/25jRDf8Zkc

For those of you who don't know us and how our channel operates and have asked us to respond to attackers, I will only share this. Our family is a very special family of four. Even though I have girls, they've never been the "typical" girls who acted out or ran off with boys without permission. They were always very respectful toward Jen and I. And they were this way because of the mutual respect that was the rule of our household - non-violence and peace was the main rule of law in our home. Because of that, the four of us have always been amazingly close. There is much love in our family.
I grew up with a father who was very strict with religion and forced Catholicism on me, with punishments if I didn't comply. I broke away from faith in my college years because of this and never wanted to inflict that upon my daughters. I wanted them to find their OWN path to God - and trusted that God would guide them to him. As I told you all in a live recently, we introduced our daughters to Christianity when they were very little. They were baptized, went to Sunday school, and when they reached the age when they started asking questions about whether god was real, I told them this:
I believe god is real and that Jesus was the son of God, and the evidence that convinced me. But I didn't force MY beliefs down their throats. If you recall I told y'all they read books on every religion, including Carl Sagan, who - if you're literary, you know he's agnostic. My daughters know more about religion than most YouTubers who claim to be religious - due to their self-education and learnings that lead them to where they are spiritually, both of them now in their mid-20's are amazing humans. One of my daughters is engaged to a great southern Christian boy - and they read the bible together.
I don't know the paths they took that led them to God. I don't know what they read or what they explored - their faith is not mine, and their path to God is their own - as each of ours is. I'm just very proud today that one of my daughters is in the field of Cyber Security, and the other is in the field of Neuroscience. Both of them are more intelligent, more kind, and more loving toward their fellow humans than 200 YouTube creators combined.
I agree with many who've said on this platform that children are off limits. If only all YouTubers would practice what they preach.

Layla's Hope is such an important pilot project in Kingsport with the goal to expand nationally. Their mission is: "to ensure that missing, runaway, homeless, and street youth/young adults, who have been subjected to, or are at risk of being subjected to, sexual abuse, human trafficking, or sexual exploitation and their families have access to resources and support that rebuild connections and develop a sense of safety, hope and leadership."
You can support through resources, partnerships, merchandise and more - this was inspired by Layla Santanello's story and can do so much to prevent cases like this in the future.

You guys...you've made Jen and I get choked up this morning. I got out of bed and saw multiple notifications that a bunch of you have sent in donations to support us. We often go months without seeing that kind of notification, so seeing multiple this morning is just so moving. We also received several emails of love and support - all on top of several new people joining us as members. It's not even the money (which will go directly toward next weekends searches!), it's confirmation that this tribe right here is something truly special.
Jen and I will never be able to express how blessed we feel that God has brought people like you all into our lives - people who stand strong in righteousness and love, especially during the darkest hours. You are our inspiration and our encouragement. You keep us taking another step even when the road feels too long and our hearts are weary. I know I say this at the end of every video but I'm going to say it again. Jen and I love you all so much.

If you missed this update a few days ago - this is just a sad update on the case of the Tennessee munitions plant we mentioned in our live the other day. Please keep these families in your prayers.
