Hey yall.

I haven't really talked about this project since I have a track record of announcing things and not finishing them, but now that my audience is probably only like 5 people I guess it doesn't matter that much anyways lol.

But yes...there is another album in the works, and this time it's featuring all my own arrangements. I'll probably make an announcement video for it at some point to explain more, but yeah, it's taken like a year to get here and I'm finally in the post-production process.

Hey Watt's up everybody! I just started a Ko-fi page (ko-fi.com/wattkeys) to help with doing a bit of crowdfunding for some of the things I'd like to do for this channel and beyond. If you've enjoyed my videos or found them helpful, I'd greatly appreciate it if you decided to support in this way!

For the sake of transparency (and also so that you can know what I intend to do with donations since sometimes giving money to randos online can get weird lol), I'll list out my intents and goals here.

1. Get a new shotgun microphone ($250)

I realized when shooting my next video on how one of my musician friends puts together his music that my current camera mounted mic just isn't cutting it anymore, and it doesn't work well for vlog-type videos either. I also figured that since I'm going to be travelling to Japan soon and Anime Expo that it might be fun to do some vlog-type videos on new channel if you're interested, and getting a new mic will help with that.

2. Album and thumbnail art (~$250+)

It's been a while since I released my previous album on Spotify and Apple music, so I'm itching to get another one out there. This one though is a bit of an artistic endeavor, in that I'm arranging and (of course) playing all the pieces on it. I'll have more details on it later as I get closer to recording and finishing the arrangements, but since it will feature many Genshin covers, I'm also commissioning artwork for the thumbnails and album cover because I want the whole project to be something I'm proud of artistically.

3. New laptop and camera equipment (~1k+)

This is the most inconsequential goal of them for now since I can still make do with what I have, but it would be nice to upgrade my laptop (which is a bit bulky for travel) so that I can edit and work while travelling and get new camera equipment (body and lens) to continue to improve the quality of my videos.

I realize that this is a giant wall of text that very few people will read, but I feel pretty weird asking for donations and support this way and this was the best way to assuage my conscience. I want to emphasize that I don't NEED the support, but if you want to help me out, I can get around to these goals sooner rather than later.
