✔️ Discovered the fossil tree at Sathanur (now the National Fossil Wood Park)
✔️ Awarded the Padma Bhushan (1970)

🙏 On his 127th birth anniversary, we fondly remember M. S. Krishnan, who laid strong foundations for Indian geology.
