This might be Nepal’s most underrated trek — short, peaceful, and unreal at sunrise. I honestly didn’t expect the final view to look like this. Full video is now live on the channel!
Durga Puja is more than a festival – it’s a cultural phenomenon.
In this cinematic video, I have explained through storytelling why Durga Puja is called the biggest festival in India, showcasing how Kolkata comes alive with art, devotion, and celebration. This project is very close to my heart because it combines my passion for cinematography with my storytelling approach
5 months ago, in March itself, I visited Harsil along with Dharali, Mukhba, and Bagori villages. A few days back, I had uploaded the video in this YouTube channel. Through drone footage, I had tried to show the place from a different perspective. Calling it “as beautiful as a dream” wouldn’t even be enough to describe these places.
Dharali and Mukhba villages are located on opposite sides of the Bhagirathi River — Mukhba on the mountainside and Dharali at the mountain’s foothills. Dharali has the Kalp Kedar temple, which perhaps now has once again been buried under the soil. From this village, you can also embark on some incredibly beautiful treks, one of which I had completed — the Sat Tal Trek.
Today, nearly 90% of Dharali village lies buried under a devastating flash flood and landslide. From the left side of the red-marked area in the photo, a destructive mix of mud, rocks, and water came down the mountain gorge. Even more than in this drone photo, I had captured a direct top-angle view of this spot in my drone video.
I had spent quite some time standing exactly where the landslide has now occurred. The nearby shops and settlements still float vividly before my eyes. This is truly a terrifying face of nature.
