Busy definitely has a way of taking over. That’s why I have to be intentional about creating spaces for me and God. Sometimes it’s cuddled up in my fav chair with a Bible, journal and a cup of coffee. And right now I’m enjoying great Fall mornings. This has definitely been a nice walk! I had the joy of teaching our Elementary students today. Our lesson was God “Treats Everyone Fairly” and through our study from Genesis 6 and 7 about Noah’s ark, we had a lesson about Noah’s obedience and God’s protection. We started with an "Ark Walk"! 🌧️🌈 To help the kids grasp the massive size of the ark, we took a walk around the parking lot, showing them just how big it would have been! (I measured from approximate dimensions of 30 car lengths long, 12.5 car lengths wide, and as tall as the light poles). We learned that Sin grieves God; our obedience pleases Him.

But now you gotta love the children. Our closing activity was a few scenarios and the question is would this be very easy – somewhat difficult – really difficult – impossible for them to do?

🌈 Me: Scenario 4 [God’s command: Ephesians 4:32a]
Your elderly neighbor is lonely. She likes to have you visit and talk with her. She just needs someone to be kind to her.

🌈Child (hand raised): It would be easy. I would go to her house and get her on Tinder so she could find her a boyfriend!!

🌈Me: 🫨👀🤯 [Remind me not to look single and lonely around this bunch!!🤣]

LISSEN!! They say if you can teach the babies, you can teach anyone! I don’t think I was ready but we had a great time! LOL!

"Trust the process." These three simple words hold so much weight. It's easy to get caught up in wanting instant results, thinking we know exactly what we want. But real growth—whether it’s in life, faith, or anything else—takes time and patience. Trusting the process means surrendering control, knowing that what’s meant to unfold will do so in its perfect timing. One of my favorite scriptures, Proverbs 3:5-6, reminds us to ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.’ ✨🙏🏾 Even when things don’t go as planned, God knows what’s best for us.
