My younger self. The little girl with the big dreams who very much still lives in me.
I’m reparenting myself in this season, and it’s a bit overwhelming, and full of uncertainty but it’s also a gift to learn how to give myself what I’ve always been needing but what I sought from friends, from family, or from a lame job…
And that’s patience, encouragement, courage, consistency, compassion, and love.
If I could tell y’all anything, look at pictures of your younger self, and ask yourself — what would she want me to give her now that she didn’t receive before?
That’s where the joy resides. 💗

I’ve spent the entirety of my life trying to prove I’m deserving of good things…now, I feel like it’s time to release that need to be accepted and live a life of joy, softness, and peace.
