Hi everyone! If you've been on our site recently, you've probably already noticed this, but we have some news for those who only know us via YouTube!

About a month back, we introduced a subscription plan, called Adocasts+, and have been busy releasing exclusive content for it. If you watched the three EdgeJS Components lessons we released on YouTube, you've seen a preview of one of the Adocasts+ exclusive series.

Here's what Adcoasts+ subscribers get:
- Unlock all series and lessons
- 2 weeks early access to our free lessons
- Ad-free experience across the Adocasts site
- Plus, we send renewal reminders and you can cancel anytime

We're also looking at options for additional perks down the road.

As a peak into 2024, we recently started planning over ten series to build out a learning path from beginner to advanced that we'll be starting in late 2023/early 2024. This path will start by introducing NodeJS and SQL before moving into AdonisJS 6 when that is released. We'll first cover fundamentals and then put them to the test by building applications.

Adocasts

I wanted to thank everyone for their support through the years we've been doing this! Thanks to all your support, we've reached the requirements for the YouTube Partner Program.

This channel has a history beyond Adocasts and Jagr, so we've had the subscriber count requirement met since 2011 😅. But, two days ago we crossed the requirement for 4,000 annual hours watched and just this morning was accepted into the program.

This means I'll begin earning some revenue from video advertisements, when someone with YouTube Premium watches a video, and we can also utilize Supers like Super Thanks, Super Chat, and Super Stickers.

I also shared an update recently on Twitter mentioning that the written content I've been providing with each lesson on adocasts.com/ is going to stop, at least for now. Writing lessons is a major time consumer that takes just as much time as recording & editing a lesson. So, by cutting this out of my workflow I'll have more time and energy to produce more content and streams.
