A shooting star isn’t really a star at all! 🌟
It’s a tiny space rock, called a meteoroid, flying super fast through Earth’s atmosphere. 🌍☄️
As it zips through the sky, the air around it pushes back hard and makes it really, really hot! 🔥
That bright streak of light we see isn’t the rock - it’s the glowing air around it! 💫
And when Earth meets lots of these space rocks at once, it turns into a meteor shower - a sky full of sparkling shooting stars! 🌌🌟
