Today we lost our beautiful Holly. It was sudden and completely unexpected after she suffered a fit, We have spent Holly’s whole life protecting her from her fear of humans after the abuse she suffered before she came to us. She passed with the smells and sounds she knew and loved here on the farm and we could not have asked for more than that. We are completely heartbroken. Sweet Dreams our Beautiful Girl 🌙

If ever there was a magical moment, this is it. Tiny Tim was born with severely deformed legs, and at just three days old he began to struggle to drink from his mum. We were forced to face the unthinkable because his tiny life simply could not continue in such a fragile state.

Then came Greg, an incredible farrier who created tiny custom shoes to help him stand. And now, nine weeks later, Tiny Tim has walked unaided outside for the very first time.

The little donkey we never even knew was there has stolen the world’s heart.

We are completely overwhelmed with gratitude, along with his adopted family from all over the world. A huge thank you to Greg, to Charlotte our vet, and to our good friend Grace who put us in touch with him.

A year ago, our family visited the battlefields of the Somme in France — a place where so many brave souls, both human and animal, gave everything.
Today, as we pause to remember, we wanted to share this journey once more for those who may have missed it.

Walking those fields, where silence now rests over what was once chaos, reminded us of the immense courage and sacrifice that shaped our world.
