Sorry for the lack of videos this last few weeks, Judy's mums funeral is on the 2nd January and I hope to have a video ready for the following week.

Hey everyone please ignore the spam on your feed of the members only videos - these are all old content anyway and I put them there as they underperformed in the normal search. They can act as additional content for anyone who wishes to help support the channel who may not have seen them but they are not a paywall to my content - I just don't want to delete them but at the same time want to explain why there may be lots of them showing on your feed.

Unfortunately YouTube has taken to showing tons of members only content on peoples feeds who do not even subscribe as a member to a given channel and this is them doing a money grab so they can take their cut.

Sorry for the long post but I want to have full transparency on this - I am certainly not asking anyone for money, that's why all my plans are free.

Would anyone be interested if I created a new channel which would have less of a focus on actual woodworking and more on dealing with the business side of things (small business and side hustle focused). I'd be looking to include where I get inspiration from for products, how I dress products for images, what's selling / what's not selling, how to go about listing on the major platforms, dealing with customers - that sort of thing. Oh and preparing for Market events also - things you will need etc.

I am considering even including some of the YouTube side of things (incase anyone is considering making a side income from starting or building a channel). What's involved, how to get monetised, I'm not a guru obviously but just how things are working for me and what I try to do and what I'm learning to avoid.

I would love to know how you feel about it - without you it means nothing and the same goes for this channel so I appreciate every one of you 🥰🥰

I recently had a comment that has had me thinking and I'd like your opinion please. My goal is to make the best content I can for you and if something is making you switch away before the end I would really appreciate knowing what it is.

The comment mentioned the music in my latest video so I've started a poll on it but if something else is the cause please please put it in the comments and I will take that onboard and maybe start another poll later in the month with a wider set of questions.

I am finding myself without any time to move the workshop build forward, there are jigs needed, workstations needed, cupboards to build, organisers to make and shutters to create for the windows - along with a thousand other jobs.

I'm also looking at doing an update on the business / sidehustle side of things - sales details / profits - best sellers that sort of thing. Feel free to comment if there's somethings you'd really like to see and some of these things that don't interest you so much - it would really help me out.


Would you be interested in these things if I did them and put them out as videos? I would still be putting out some of my more standard videos inbetween too :)
