I haven’t driven for Uber in several months due to a mechanical issue with my car, and unfortunately, I can’t afford the repairs right now. Looking back, I realize just how much risk we as drivers take on every time we hit the road. Honestly, it feels like that risk keeps growing, as the payment for being a driver continues to decrease.
