I haven’t driven for Uber in several months due to a mechanical issue with my car, and unfortunately, I can’t afford the repairs right now. During this unexpected break from rideshare driving, I’ve had some time to reflect on the many long trips I’ve taken over the years, especially throughout the beautiful Tampa Bay, Florida region.
Looking back, I realize just how much risk we as drivers take on every time we hit the road. Honestly, it feels like that risk keeps growing, as the payment for being a driver continues to decrease.
I’m curious—what have you noticed about the risks vs the rewards involved in driving rideshare for any of these companies? Has it impacted the way you drive or how often you drive? 💬 please post your thoughts about this subject.
I’d really love to hear your thoughts and any memorable trips you’ve had as a rideshare driver! It is always better to drive less. Thanks, Rideshare Sean
