Savai kheer

Ingredients:

- 1 cup vermicelli noodles
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Chopped nuts or dried fruit for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Heat ghee in a pan and roast vermicelli noodles until golden brown.
2. In a large pot, boil milk and add sugar, cardamom powder, and roasted vermicelli noodles.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the noodles are cooked and the milk has thickened.
4. Remove from heat and let it cool.
5. Serve warm or chilled, garnished with chopped nuts or dried fruit if desired.

You can adjust the amount of sugar and ghee to your taste preferences. Some people like their Savai kheer more sweet, while others prefer it less sweet. You can also add a pinch of saffron or a few strands of saffron to give it a yellow color and a unique flavor.
