Hope - Jesus for the World

In times of uncertainty, we often turn to hope and optimism. Christians' view of hope is not merely aspirational; it is firmly rooted in Scripture and in the promises of God, providing assurance that stems from God's unwavering faithfulness. Scriptural Basis for Hope. Hebrews 6:19 characterizes hope as “an anchor of the soul,” underscoring its stabilizing influence. Romans 5:3–5 demonstrates how experiences of adversity cultivate a resilient hope, one that does not disappoint due to the sustaining love of God. Hope-Jesus for the World is dedicated to encouraging believers and extending hope to those experiencing despair. This mission is anchored in the biblical affirmation: “For in this hope we were saved.” (Romans 8:24) We believe in Triune God, the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ—His incarnation, atoning death, resurrection, and eventual return. Our hope anticipates the fulfillment of His eternal Kingdom. Hope-Jesus for the World.

Hope - Jesus for the World

Today is Maundy Thursday. Let's take some time to ponder what Jesus did in the upper room with his disciples. I always try to put myself with them. Let's see what Jesus was doing and ask him to open our blinded eyes so we can see. From washing the feet to the Last Supper and from Gethsemane to Golgotha, let's follow his footprints. Comment below the verse or event of Maundy Thursday you like. Mine is when Jesus was going out after supper with his disciples, and he delivered his farewell address in John chapters 14-16.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬
