Good afternoon Farmers. We are organising our last Dorper sheep consignment in August 2024 from Kenya. Its a tedious exercise if you get to know what happens behind the scene. The plan is to bring in 200 sheep at ago. We arent changing the prices ie 800,000 ugx for an ewe and 900,000 ugx for a ram.
I believe after this consignment most of us would have more breeding stock to build our dorper herds. If interested please reach us on;

POSTPONEMENT OF GOAT FARMING MASTERCLASS
Dear Participants,
In light of the recent outbreak of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), as announced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, and considering the risk of spreading FMD, we regret to inform you that we have decided to postpone the Goat Farming Masterclass originally scheduled for March.
The risk of spreading FMD, particularly through vehicle tires and human contact, poses a significant threat to the health of livestock in Sembabule District, which is currently under full quarantine. Visiting multiple farms during the masterclass could potentially exacerbate the spread of the disease within the district and beyond.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize for any disruption to your plans. Rest assured, we are committed to delivering the Goat Farming Masterclass at a later date when it is safe to do so.
We are currently working on rescheduling the masterclass to June, and the new date will be announced in due course. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time.

Farms in the Netherlands and other farming countries have lived for generations and are a big inheritance deal. Families know who will take lead after the retirement of parents and the farm structures are clear. I have introduced my children to this system, to the art of farm business and also I am exposing them to all sorts of farming scams and how to overcome them. You believe me when I say that most inherited businesses don’t continue because those that take charge were never mentored to run them. If you love your farm and wish to see them beyond your self, encourage and introduce your children to the business way earlier like me.
