The seniors where extremely tough, I’m talking low 13’s on an NFR pattern. There was a mishap with Jetta on the way to Vegas, we weren’t even sure if we could run. We skipped the expo to let her have a couple days to rest. She came back and made the finals with 18 YEAR OLDS!

We will be back next year, time to go home and focus on the others!
In January, we were going to send him off to a trainer for a month. That trainer got on him for about 5 minutes before she felt something was wrong. She called the vet and he came out and did x-rays on him.
Turns out he had a fractured splint bone and would be off for 6 months. I was devastated.
In July I was finally able to make my first run and I was so exited. He came back so great and ended up 12th out of 400 and the 15th fastest run that weekend.
We went to another race about 2 weeks later and mad thing, did so good and I was so happy he came back better.
Then we took him to the vet just to get injected. They trotted him on the concrete and I thought he looked perfectly fine, but of course something was off. They figured out he wasn’t completely healed yet. My goal was to be able to ride him at the pink buckle.
The vet told us to walk him for a month and then after that he should be able to start getting legged up again.
Took him out of the stall to ride today, wouldn’t put pressure on his back leg. I was like “are you kidding me right now”
Took him to the vet 2 hours later and we were praying for an abscess and nothing more.
Thankfully it’s just an abscess but everything will get pushed 1 week further which means pink buckle is out.
I’m trusting god more then ever right now and it’s so hard. ❤️
Just so thankful for Jetta and how good she is pushing through! Please put Mr. Patriot in your prays because we both need it.

Recap of this weekend! On Saturday, I took Rowdy, Jetta and Patriot.
Patriot ran a 13.7 getting us 11th in the 1D
Rowdy ran a 13.623 and got us 7th in the 1D
Jetta ran a 13.623 and tied with Rowdy in the 1D
All horses got in the 1D and I couldn’t be happier ❤️
Sunday.
Patriot ran a 18.7 and 3rd in the 1D
Jetta ran a 19.0 winning 5th in the 2D
Rowdy ran a 18.9 and got us 2nd in the 2D
Ended up winning over $800 on Sunday.
Could not be more happy with my team! 💖
