Water is the most important resource we have. In so many places in the world it is hardly available to people. I am grateful to have safe, great-tasting water and to be sure my family’s water is safe and safe for my dog and plants I filter it so that it is closer to being pure and pure tasting. I know it makes a world of difference in my plant’s growth and my dog’s health.

Quakies are beautifully musical and magical with their quiet movements in the spring breeze. But did you know they look like they are quaking or dancing? In reality, they are merely responding to the wind, and their stem and leaf attachments do the rest. The petioles, their leaf stems, are flattened and positioned at a right angle to the leaf blade, giving the appearance of dancing or fluttering with even a light breeze. With their unique silvery green leaves, they shimmer and gleam in the sunlight. Some say they are mesmerizing, looking like many butterflies flapping their wings.
Should you be in the market for one of these great additions to your yard, you can purchase a variety of these trees, which do not run and pop up new trees so often. The Swedish variety would be far better and would have limited numbers of new babies popping up. Beware, though, they are not cheap, so shop around, or shop online to find your best price. I have had a Quakie in my yard and I loved it!
