My channel is mostly dedicated to historical costumes and their construction, but I also like to partake in crafting and cosplay too! I have a diploma in Costume Design and Construction, and even though I have been sewing for more then a decade I still have so much more to discover about my craft.

Final fire update.
Hello everyone.
Thank you all so much for the prayers and well wishes!
The fire has been contained/is out and the evacuation alert is lifted.
There is still whiffs of smoke when the wind changes direction, but that is better then the fire.
The fire has thrown a bit of a wrench in my sewing plans as I haven't fully been able to focus, so it is going to be a little while longer before I put out another video.
I have been enjoying the nature around me just a little bit more.
I hope you are all having a good August and I'll be back shortly.
I would love to know what you are doing for the rest of August and if you are working on any projects for the end summer or are jumping right into Autumn projects!

Wildfire Update:
The fire has turned away from us (fingers crossed it dosen't come back around) but the smoke is really bad. Still on alert for evacuation. We have rain in the forecast for tomorrow, thank you for all the prayers!

Hello everyone
We could really use some prayers for a ton of rain!
A wildfire is getting closer to our home and I am getting really scared. We are packing in case we have to leave, but the evacuation hasn't been announced as of yet.
It is really just wait and see at the moment.
I'll update you if it gets contained or if we have to go.

This might be a bit of a long shot, but has anyone ever come across this tea gown online? I have been searching for pattern for years, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. You can just see a small bit of the ruler measurements so I know the pattern exists somewhere even if I can't find it😆
