Vitaliy Zavadskyy is a composer based in Toronto, Canada. His drive for extraordinary storytelling has led him to work with people in film and advertising industry from around the world. Some of his work has been with clients such as: Toyota, David Yurman, Tag Heuer, ASUS, Matthew Williamson, GoodCompany, Yandex, Swarovski, The North Face, CLM BBDO, Gary Shore, Daniel Gomes and others.
The films that he scored have been notably featured in such festivals as Cannes Film Festival, Los Angeles Indie Film Festival, Aesthetica Short Film Festival, LA Shorts Fest and NYLA International Film Festival. His work has appeared in fashion and design events including OFFF, Premsela exhibition Basic Instincts, Net-A-Porter and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.

The story of MIRAGE has been part of my life for the better part of the past decade.
MIRAGE in all its forms was delicately carried by Sil Van Der Woerd from an abstraction to a clear idea that painted a vision of realities we will all experience - loss of a loved one, the darkness, despair and pain of that process, and our way of finding acceptance in the approach of the inevitable.
I am deeply thankful for the trust Sil had in my ability to find music that felt honest to the vision of the story, shown by the films visual language and made unquestionably real by the performances of the actors.
While intimate in narrative MIRAGE is infinite in its commitment to human truths experienced at the inevitable end.
The film has arrived at its final destination online but I'll carry a part of MIRAGE going forward with gratitude.

I am a Russian speaking Ukrainian. I've never considered my heritage an important part of my public channels.
However the government of Russian Federation declared war on a country where my family and friends want to lead peaceful and meaningful lives.
Inane reasons given by the government of Russian Federation for this invasion will be forever an example of historical failure of the Russian government and betrayal of the interests of it's own people.
I have family, friends and colleagues in both Ukraine and Russia and I wish all of them keep safe and secure through this incredible time.
I want to believe this moment in history will be the first real step towards meaningful change of the current Russian government on a path towards better Russia for the people within and outside of it's borders.
