Dar-ul-Madina International University

Dar-ul-Madina International University (DMIU), Islamabad, and the National Rahmatul-lil-Aalameen Wa Khatamun Nabiyyin ﷺ Authority (NRKNA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in Seerah education, research, teacher development and youth character building.

The delegation from Dawat-e-Islami was led by Maulana Muhammad Imran Attari, Head Central Advisory Council (Dawat-e-Islami) and Patron-in-Chief of DMIU. He was accompanied by Haji Shahid Attari, Member of the Central Advisory Council and Head of Pakistan Mushawrat (Dawat-e-Islami); Haji Waqar-ul-Madina Attari, Member of the Central Advisory Council (Dawat-e-Islami); Dr. Danish Iqbal Attari, Vice Chancellor of DMIU; and Brigadier Tahir Nawaz Attari, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of DMIU.

Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Khurshid Ahmad Nadeem, Chairman of the Authority, commended the University’s efforts to promote Seerah education and emphasised the importance of communicating its teachings in ways that resonate with younger generations.

Maulana Muhammad Imran Attari highlighted professional teacher training as essential to preparing educators to guide students in the light of the Seerah of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ. He also affirmed Dawat-e-Islami’s commitment to supporting the Authority’s initiatives in Seerah education and character development.

The MoU provides a framework for joint educational and research initiatives that encourage students and educators to translate Seerah learning into ethical conduct, social responsibility and service to humanity.
