Hello spooder fans,

It's been a little while since my last community post so I thought I'd pop up an update.

Secondly, the spooderpods shop is going to be having an overhaul and update soon with new products including bioactive/natural decor as well as more useful products. I'm also shortly doing an interim restock as I know a couple of you have asked when bioactive bits will be back in stock.

I've added some exciting new members to the swarm recently and will have an introduction video filmed soon! The new critters all look very cool, although I have to admit some where much bigger/smaller than I expected!

Otherwise things have been ticking over here as usual. Some swarm members have loved the heat here in the UK others have sadly not fared as well despite my best efforts.

The swarm have had some losses from old age recently, which makes me a little sad, but also glad they lasted near/their full lifespans. Otherwise a couple of new moults and some zebra isopod babies have hatched!

As usual I've restocked some bits over on the Spooderpods shop. Some bits are still out of stock, but I'm working on getting them back in asap. I'm also planning a big update and expansion coming up, will let you all know when that happens!

Community update time!

A few more moults happening recently here. Everyone seems to be liking the increase in overall temperature and have been pretty active. It's also fun to see the isopods a little more active during the day too!

Usual community update time!

Been SUPER busy with the parrot side of my life recently, but that doesn't mean I've neglected my inverts. I managed to capture this awesome photo of BooToo moulting into their final adult form recently which was really cool.
Many of the slings have also had moults due to the warmer weather and I've increased their feedings.
Been having a little trouble with a couple of my isopod colonies too. The sharks aren't fairing too well so trying to work out why.
BUT the zebra's have had babies which is awesome!

It's been a while so I thought I'd check in with you all!

Mega busy over on the parrot side of things, so have been ensuring to try and keep up with it all!

I've also done another big restock over on the spooderpods shop. You guys sure do like your bioactive enclosure bits! Bioactive balls, substrate, leaflitter and membranes along with lighting is all back in stock!

No new additions recently to the swarm, I feel like I have plenty to be looking after! No major moults or excitement either aside from some interesting observations around light levels and behaviour patterns both in my reptiles and invertebrates. (Video on that coming at some point!)

As for me, mega busy! Still keeping up with my hobbies such as miniature painting, tv shows/anime and gaming. Currently playing through Dragons Dogma 2 again!

Not many stock changes on the shop since my last update, although bio active clay balls are back in stock as well as jumping spider plushies!

The swarm have been busy exploring and snacking recently. No major moults, no losses or exceptional goings on. However, we have had a mini spike of fungus gnats and even a little mould in a couple of enclosures due to the changes in temperature/humidity. Always annoying, but often easily solved with springtails, rehouse or a quick bit of maintenance!

All of the inverts from the show have settled in well. I have a real soft spot for Bobo the beetle and Tombie the Tomb Crawler. Both are such cool inverts to observe!

How have you shown your inverts some love today??

The swarm has been doing well, sadly some friends have departed recently, but such is the way with invertebrates! The tarantulas especially have been busy speed moulting of late. I'm not sure what made a bunch of them decide to moult, but it's going to be rehouse time for a few of them soon!

As for me, usual busy busy with the parrot side of things. I've been watching my usual shows and have started playing FF7 Intergrade + Daemon X Machina!

Hello spooder fans!

I thought I'd drop a community post as I'm now on my new video schedule of 2-3 a month rather than one a week!

The swarm have been doing well, including the new gecko arrivals. I really have 0 regrets getting them as they are so charming and low maintenance compared to our parrots!
Only a small amount of new additions recently as I've been trying to ensure that the husbandry for our current critters is correct and that we don't run out of space. I think it's always exciting to add new inverts to a collection, but it's important to ensure that all their needs will be met and it's not just a novelty thing!

Thankfully invertebrate content isn't doing as badly as parrot content right now, but YouTube definitely seems to be promoting educational content less in favour of shorts or just whatever else is the flavour of the month! That doesn't mean I'm going to stop making it though!
