音樂的這一條路上多數時候都很孤單，在1還沒有認識5之前，都一個人創作，生活，離鄉背井，到處旅行，一個又一個城市去旅居，把每一次的心情記錄到歌裡頭，內容不外乎都是一個人在路上。當2003年5在吉隆坡為梁靜茹的“旅程”編曲而認識了1，從聊得來後開始了這段奇妙的音樂旅程。第一次一起製作的EP“5首小小的故事” 讓他們嚐到了做音樂原來可以不必那麼孤單的，“千里之外”到近期楊宗緯的“其實都沒有”，黃品冠的“你不是我”...都看到了51對生命的熱愛，對音樂的熱愛。
