I believe a diversified ETF portfolio should be the foundation of almost every long-term investing plan.
For me, that base is VOO, SCHD, and QQQM — broad market strength, dividend growth, and innovation exposure.
But I also carve out a separate “accelerator” portion for individual stocks.
That part takes work. You have to study businesses, buy when they’re out of favor, and stay patient when others aren’t. It’s not about gambling — it’s about discipline.
Foundation first. Accelerator second.
