Elon Musk announced this morning that the Twitter deal is now on hold due to the number of spam/bot accounts possibly being materially higher than Twitter disclosed. Twitter’s share price dropped over 15% in pre-market trading. As mentioned in this video, this reflects the market collectively thinking the risk of the deal falling through is growing.
