Dear listeners,
My name is Marcel Smoorenburg.
I am trying to develop my own style of dub techno with influences from techno and also acid house. I enjoy the proces of learning, experimenting and jamming very much.
My first album "Liquidub: First Flow" with live recorded dawless tracks shows these different styles very well, with a difference in nuance per track. A journey through uplifting dub sounds and acid vibes. What's your favorite track?
I hope you enjoy my dawless live jams and that I can give you some inspiration with this channel.

My little semi modular corner with Moog Matriarch, Labyrinth and Mavis. They also work great with the analog inputs and outputs of the Elektron Analog Four mk2, Roland TB-03 and SE-02 for triggering and modulation. I use two Meris Hedra Pitch Shifter pedals to create three note chords with these mono synths for dub stabs.
Before Digitone II came out Moog DFAM was on my wishlist, but I decided to exchange my Digitakt for Digitakt II to get my Elektron collection up to date again. I don't regret this at all and Digitakt II has also very good drum synthesis based on FM and subtractive filtering.
Still, I am thinking of purchasing the Moog DFAM at some point to add a more experimental sound and working method to my setup. Even though I also have an Analog Rytm mk2 and Digitakt II, which I don't use enough at the moment, but I would like to use it more to record modular sequences and sounds that I have created.
Would you recommend this and why do you think DFAM is still a good addition? I'd love to hear your opinion on this and your experience with the DFAM in your setup.
