Been searching for an alternative to make money virtually since 2016 - 2021. Tried Dropshipping(hates marketing & sales), Design & code(Love doing this!) and Trading(as a retail trader). Within 5 years, tried everything to make it work and make money, nothing workout. But I like the idea of Trading, so I went further.
Stopped everything in 2022 including trading and wash down the retail knowledge from trading binary option and start learning how to trade with ICT in the month of July 03, 2024. Transition from retail to rocking Smart Money Concept(SMC). Took me 4 month to transition from forex to trading futures specifically E-Mini Nasdaq.
I learn SMC from Micheal J.Huddleston, creator of ICT(The Inner Circle Trader).
The End Goal? Full-time day trading!

Wrecked the Daily Limit Loss, due to FOMO. Was supposed to short for the session, the distraction of annotation and delineation levels was too much on my chart to the point that I don't know which price levels to look at. The idea was there, but the execution was reckless due to FOMO and distraction.
And over leveraged too. Tomorrow and moving forward trading will be notepad and pen for price level entry. This way I have a clean chart to work with. And as for contract, at this point anything more than 2 contract I have emotions kicking in, like right away. For now, comfortable with just 2 contract.
Overall, this was an easy market. Right at the opening range gap price did reach the December 20, Daily C.E. Revisit the SIBI @21,440.50. Creates a Low/High and not even near to the First presented FVG on December 31, and back to the December 20, Daily C.E and terminus will be where my Sellside Liquidity reside. For the session.
On the second screenshot, at 12:15pm lunch macro price takes the dip to the Sellside Liquidity. But why did I take a loss? FOMO and Over-leveraging with 5 contract at first, this already triggers my emotion, I then changed it to 3, at this point the emotion was there to stay plus the FOMO and that was it.
Third screenshot was the prep on Wednesday. A day before Thursday. Notice the Session trade only and short for daily bias. Short execution taken, at the wrong time & price. As of now, the express account rest at $1,374.44
Fourth screenshot, price takes the actual Sellside Liquidity. The idea was there, but the execution was replace by FOMO due to over-leverage and invites emotion and delineation distraction.
Small step to getting funded!

This is going to be in my journal and it how it's gonna be throughout my trading process moving forward. This review will be in video uploaded in future. As of now, this is what I'm capable of. This will help me to recognise risk area, how price delivers, high resistance market profile and low resistance market profile.
Moving forward, there will be more information that will be included or incorporate in my Journal for data and learning purposes. Hopefully will make me aware of my unique risk and weakness moving forward.

Wrap up for the craziest experience for the year of 2024. Hello, 2025! Agenda for 2025 is to break it into quarterly chunks or 6-month. To pace myself and to be realistic through process. It's gonna be a year of trading, making money and nothing else. No games except for chess.
To build up my journal for both trading and keeping myself check through journaling. Process through generating Ideas/narrative. That's that. Keeping it tight and simple. Nothing too complicated and rigorous.

Before execution, I was already restless, worried and overthinking, not because of trading, but in real life. Apart from this, the decision I made was base on retail stuff I learned in the past. Kind of mess up. Anyways, I should have waited for the 9:30am NYT opening bell and take the lowest hanging fruit present after opening bell.
It happens, I need to keep my emotions in-check and always starts off at the opening bell. I bridge the daily limit loss for today. And my account is currently at $2,497.28. To punish for my act I've done today, I force myself to record a tape reading and teach myself to look for my model which I already point it out in the video.
Next, journal of emotions before entering the market. To mitigate and let go through journaling my emotions and overthinking.

Speculation on Monday December 30, 2024 was spot on. Price did reach exactly at November 25, Weekly Gap High. I did not participate any short ideas like I intended to but executed long position with 2 contract @21,437.25 at 11:40am ended at 11:59am @21,465.75, 30 handles in 19min +550.
Second execution, @21,421.75 at 11:50am, time ended at 12:06pm @21,448.75, 27 handles in 16min +540. Total P&L on third Screenshot.
Fourth screenshot shows my actual terminus placed 2 ticks above the Upper Quadrant for Take profit(TP), I didn't trust the process, risk adjusted to breakeven. Risk free trades. Will journal for futures execution. Total amount for express account is sitting at, $3,515.08.

I favours if price like to visit lower timeframe gap above December 09, before diving deeper to November 25, Gap and taking the Sellside Liquidity. Looking for market maker sell model at Lunch Macro. Execution recorded the software didn't capture the half of the move in the PM session. I didn't took any screenshot of the execution except for this. Was partly Tape reading and executed 2 contract with a loss on the first trade and took a "W" on the second with a profit +413.64 covering whatever amount loss on the first.
The PM session execution was a stupid idea with a wrong mentality and mindset. Emotional driven, lots of sigh expression, energy draining moment and sweating. I did a partial peel off before price run the opposite direction.
I need to stop this gambling mode, Now!

E-Mini Nasdaq March Delivery 2025. Short with 1 contract at 9:12am at 21,883.00 right in the volume imbalance. Run 29 handles, 29 minutes close at 9:41am at 21,726.75. Third screenshot shows price run to December 09, Weekly Low Gap.

Previously, I took a loss of -1,051.40 and I thought that was it. Back to trading combine. Waited for a reset email from TopStep for 2 weeks, but to no avail. And soon realise today, the account balance loss limit was $2,000 and the daily limit loss $1,000.
I wrecked the Daily limit loss of $1,000 past 2 weeks but I still can trade the express account since I didn't broke the $2,000 account limit loss. That makes the account back to +2,069.32.
Too bad, I did not setup OBS screen capture properly. It was on Record, but it was total black screen, it happens.
