Matthew 25:14-30
1. God entrusts different capacities to different people
Verse 15: “according to his ability.”
Leadership insight: Responsibility is distributed based on capacity, not equality.
2. Faithfulness is measured by multiplication, not comparison
The servant with 2 talents received the same praise as the one with 5 talents.
3. Fear is the enemy of stewardship
The third servant says: “I was afraid.”
Fear paralyzes calling and leadership.
4. God expects growth from what He entrusts
The master expected increase, not preservation.
5. Accountability is inevitable
Verse 19: “After a long time the lord… reckoned with them.”
“God does not measure us by what we were given, but by what we did with what we were given.”
Entrustment + Faithfulness + Initiative = Multiplication
Entrustment + Fear + Inaction = Loss
