Fellowship Baptist Church

Are there people in your life that you feel are too far gone to ever be reached with the Gospel? People who are so hard-hearted that they get angry just at the mention of Jesus?

In Acts 9, we encounter the story of God reaching the heart of a man who seemed completely unreachable. Saul had a terrible past, a hardened heart, and a deep hatred for followers of Christ. Yet God broke through all of it.

His story reminds us that God can reach anyone when we are willing to follow His plan. Sometimes the person we think is the least likely to respond to the Gospel may be the very person God is preparing to reach.

Series description:
What if I told you that God created something to help us face life's challenges, engage in spiritual warfare, strengthen our families, discover our purpose, and live the life He intended for us? Wouldn't that become a priority?

The good news is that God did create something that accomplishes all of this...the church. Before you dismiss that idea, let's clarify what we mean by "church." We're not talking about buildings, programs, traditions, or religious routines. We're talking about the church as God designed it.

When the church functions according to God's plan, it is powerful, effective, life-changing, and essential. Yet many people view it as optional because they have never experienced what the church was meant to be.

It's time to go back to the original blueprint. Let's examine God's purpose for the church and discover how it not only transforms individual lives but was designed to impact families, communities, and ultimately the world.

Due to the number of families we have utilizing the pantry, we have limited our weekly capacity to 45 families. To reserve a spot, neighbors can now request a booking appointment by visiting the link above.

30 spaces are available online for booking requests. These requests will be reviewed to ensure all necessary information is on file and that neighbors are within our service area. Neighbors will be added to the waitlist on the day of service and served in the order they reserved their booking. Priority will be given to first-time guests and those who require special assistance. Neighbors can now only book one time per month to allow space for others.

For those who miss the cutoff for booking ahead of time, we will maintain the ability for walk-ins when the doors open at 5:30 PM. We will receive only 15 walk-ins each pantry service night.

Jesus still opens new doors...

While you wait: Pray. Grow. Be faithful.

You may not see what God is doing, but you can be faithful with what He’s placed in front of you today.

Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it. (Revelation 3:8)

Trust the timing. Stay faithful. Be ready to walk through.

Fellowship Baptist Church

A new city. No friends. No family. But God provided community.

For George and Elvia, moving to a new city meant starting over without friends or family nearby. But shortly after finding Fellowship Baptist Church, they found something they didn’t expect so quickly: community.

Through their Life Group, they found couples in a similar stage of life, biblical encouragement, friendships, and practical tools that strengthened their walk with Christ and their marriage as they prepared to start a family.

Then, when their son was born, that community became even more meaningful. During those exhausting first weeks of parenthood, their Life Group stepped in with a meal train, providing home-cooked meals and the support they needed to get back on their feet.

Their story is a powerful reminder that we weren’t meant to walk through life alone. Life Groups give us a place to grow, connect, and have people beside us through every season.

We learn so many lessons from the book of Judges. Once we get into the lives of the judges that God used, we learn that God works through the unexpected. God uses unexpected people to do unexpected things in unexpected ways.

Why? All for the glory of God.

This is important because you might feel as if you have nothing to offer God, and yet how God made you unique is the very thing God plans to use in your life.

Judges 3 covers three judges who bring something to the table that you won’t see coming… this is just how our God works!

Series description:
The book of Judges tells the story of Israel during one of the darkest periods in its history. Again and again, God's people turned from Him, experienced the consequences of their sin, cried out for help, and were graciously delivered through the judges God raised up.

Join us for this 11-week study as we explore the major people, events, and themes of Judges, discovering God's unwavering faithfulness in the midst of human failure and seeing how the book ultimately points us to Jesus Christ, our true Deliverer and King.

Join us Wednesday at 7:00 PM with Pastor Tony Liuzzo as we continue this Bible study!

Rebellion & Redemption
A Study in Judges

A Nation That Forgot God (Lesson 2)
Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor)

•••••••••••••••

A Nation That Forgot God (Lesson 2)

1. The story begins with faithfulness
A. they sought God's direction
B. they obeyed what God told them
C. the culture was affecting them
D. God was raising up leaders
E. they experienced God's power

2. They stopped short of complete obedience
A. the first excuse was strength
B. they justified why they didn't remove them
C. they learned to live with what God told them to remove

3. What they tolerated became what influenced them
A. compromise rarely looks dangerous...at first

4. God confronts their compromise

5. They cried, but their tears didn't change their direction

6. The generational break happens
A. one generation knew God
B. the next generation didn't know God

7. Forgetting God produced idolatry

8. God allows them to experience the consequences

9. But God still raises delivers

10. The cycle begins

11. God leaves the opposing nations as a test

What we can learn from this:
1. Partial obedience is still disobedience.
2. What you tolerate can eventually control you.
3. What one generation fails to pass down, the next generation may fail to know.

Judges 1 & 2 (Joshua 24:15; Judges 1:1-7, 9-15, 17-19 & 28-36; 2:1-23; Exodus 23:29-33; Numbers 33:50-53; Deuteronomy 7:2-6; Psalm 78:5-7)

Choose you this day whom ye will serve...

Every day, we make choices about what will have our heart, our time, and our attention. What we prioritize reveals what we value.

Put God first. Follow His Word. Live for Him. Let your choices reflect who you’ve chosen to serve.

“Choose you this day whom ye will serve… but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15
