2016 throwback! 💫 I can’t believe this was 10 years ago.

In 2016 I was 26 years old and I moved from Brazil to Ireland and then to Germany. 🇧🇷🇮🇪🇩🇪 That black guitar stayed Brazil and I was guitarless for over a year. We’ve come a long wayyyy, crew 🥰

Some pics from this lovely photoshoot I did last year with Thomas Huntke from Depicted Magazine. 😍✨📸

We shot some photos in the streets of Berlin, then we sat down to chat a bit for the interview. We talked about creativity and the process of writing the new ‪@nungaraband‬ album. ✨

In the interview, I share how much of a struggle composing music can be for me. I have this real love-hate relationship with songwriting, and it’s never been easy for me to create. It takes time, patience, and a lot of back and forth, but lately things have gotten a bit better.

At first, we wanted to write another EP, but then we decided to go with a full-length album instead. That was surprisingly helpful for me and my creative process. Somehow, it took away the pressure that I had to create these 4 amazing songs for the EP, where I could only sit down to write single-worthy tracks.

An album, on the other hand, gave us more space, more songs and less pressure to create in a certain way. We knew we wanted 4 bangers, but in the rest of album we could experiment a little more, and feel free to follow our heart and taste. ✨

That leads me to my motto for 2026: Don’t overthink, just create! This year I want to create more and care less. I want to put things out there that are imperfect, but that are unapologetically me. So you can expect more music, more videos, more posts, more art, more streams, more creations! I really want to stop overthinking so much and just start creating & sharing.

Thank you sooo much, Hungary! ✨🇭🇺 It was such an amazing experience playing for you together with @boesefuchsofficial 🦊

We had a little time before soundcheck, so we visited the Great Market Hall in Budapest. We bought spices, wine, salami, and of course ate some delicious Lángos. 🤤

It was also my first time playing on a boat! Even though it was anchored, it was super cool. 🚢😍 The backstage and catering were great too. Thank you to the A38 crew for taking such good care of us! 💖

We had a lovely breakfast this morning and since then we’re on our way back from Hungary to Berlin. Another 13-hour van trip, but we’re hanging tight! 🤘🏽

Memories from my last show with ‪@nungaraband‬ at the Decolonoize MiniFest in Berlin! ✨

At the moment Nungara is spending time inside our cocoon, experimenting, playing, singing and crafting music from the deepest parts of our little Brazilian hearts. 💚🔥 Some days I feel unbelievably inspired and everything flows effortlessly, like the goddess of guitar riffs and badass music is pouring her blessings over me. And on other days it’s such a struggle that I start questioning if making music is really meant for me.

I like to believe it is, and that the difficult days are just part of the tortuous creative path. Maybe it’s a reminder that making something freaking cool that I’m actually proud of takes time, patience, and a bunch of emotional digging. Just hoping all this digging will eventually uncover something awesome and true that I’ll be excited to share with you guysss! 🤘🏽

This is the most important musical work I’ve ever ventured into, my first full-length album as both a vocalist and a guitarist! 🥹 Thank you so much for being super patient with us, waiting patiently for more music and enjoying our first EP in the meantime. I promise you guys the wait will be sooo worth it! 🧜🏽‍♀️
