I love Yu-Gi-Oh Anime and building Anime decks and Rogue decks.

Hey Everyone,

I'm happy to announce that we've made it to 300 subscribers. I'm taking the moment to thank each and every one of you for your support. This channel wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for you guys. Sincerely thank you! So going back into the last discussion in the previous post for a sec. I asked "What content people were looking for when they come to this channel?" Outside of Cyber Dragon I've seen more of Buster Blader. So given that Dracotail has been pissing me off lately it's time to bring'em out. So expect 2 videos. Cyber Dragon and Buster Blader (Separated). Until the next video thanks again and I'll see you in the next videos.

"Let's Talk"

When I first started this channel the idea was to not just do Cyber Dragon content, but I've also wanted to do the characters mostly from the first 2 series (Yu-Gi-Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh GX). As I looked back at all the videos I've done I've noticed that Buster Blader, Stardust Dragon, and just recently the Cyber Dragon has been getting a lot of attention on this channel. My last 2 videos of Cyber Dragon didn't get as much. So I'm here to ask, what kind of content are you expecting when you come to this channel? Floors open, I'm all ears...

"Thinking About Winning?"

Let's have a heart to heart about the game we love. Someone asked me "How do I overcome all the obstacles of going second?" To them it seems like no matter how many times my opponent tries to negate me out of the game, I still win in the end. This is going to sound corny, but the answer is simple: "Remember to have fun." There was a time when I built my deck on going first to negate my opponent out of the game. At first it was satisfying. But then more opponents begin to quit the matches. Some even quit before the board could finish. Sure I was winning! But I was losing interest in the game. Fighting through all those coin tosses just to go first, then fighting through all those hands traps just to play made the game less exciting to play. Plus there were comments complaining about the way I was playing. Normally I don't care for complaints but I was compelled to agree with them. So I've decided to build the deck going second. The old fun was stopping my opponents from playing the game. The new fun is allowing my opponent to go first to see what they've got. No, I don't win them all! But knowing I've played a match where both me and my opponent gave our best is the best part of the match. My fun now is whether or not I can break my opponents boards. Win, lose or draw we had fun because we both played. If you've been following my content long enough you'd know that I respect my opponents by showing their victories and praising their moves. Why is having fun important? Because there are more players playing to win than players who play to have fun. Konami and the METAs they produce makes this very easy to forget. When Duelist play to win one loss is enough to ruin the game for them because from there they spiral down hill. The players I've learned from the most were all having fun with their decks. Because they've had fun, the other trait they all have in common was not giving up because they understood that they can be better or their opponents were just good at the game. Playing this way I've learned how to play around most boards. However this is my fun. In this game you're fun is either building a board that can't be broken or you're playing to break the opponents board. Obviously you win when you succeed! But it's not about winning, it's about having fun. The fun makes you want to be better. Doing it to win will hurt any process of wanting to get better. So why do you play? Leave an answer or a comment down in the comment session.

Hey Everyone,

Power has officially been restored. I got more content coming your way tomorrow. And it appears we have a brand new META to deal with. Has anyone been up against Radiant Typhoon?

Seems the videos for this week are on delay. We have a bad storm that knocked out the power. When things get back on track I'll keep you guys updated. Until then stay safe out there...
