Cure Ace's placement in C-Tier often stems from her controversial introduction and initial personality. She appeared abruptly, seemingly "stealing" the expected spot of another character (Regina), which frustrated many fans.
​Furthermore, her early portrayal as a bossy and arrogant mentor figure who actively criticized the main Cures and even removed one's powers was off-putting and created a massive hurdle for viewer likability. While her character mellows out later and her backstory is explored, the messy, unearned debut and unlikable behavior during her first half are often cited as reasons for her lower ranking.

💖 Hugtto! Precure: A Near-Perfect Season 💖
Hugtto! Precure deserves its status as a near-perfect entry, earning a solid 9/10, primarily due to its masterful integration of complex character development, a cohesive and emotionally resonant storyline, and a powerful, satisfying expansion right through to the finale. The series excels by grounding its magical premise in mature, relatable themes, most notably the struggles and triumphs of defining one's future and embracing adulthood. Each Cure, particularly the protagonist Hana Nono (Cure Yell), undergoes a profound journey; Hana must learn to accept her own anxieties and perceived flaws, transforming from a girl trying too hard to be "mature" into a true source of genuine encouragement and "yell" for others. This development is mirrored in her teammates: Saaya overcomes stage fright to find her medical calling, Homare resolves trauma to take flight as a figure skater, and the duo of Emiru and Ruru explore themes of sibling love, identity, and humanity, with Ruru's arc as a former emotionless android being a standout depiction of finding one's soul. The overarching storyline ties directly into this character work, with the Criasu Corporation acting as a brilliant metaphorical antagonist representing the soul-crushing despair of a future denied or frozen in place. The season sustains and expands this narrative beautifully; it doesn't just defeat weekly monsters but slowly unveils the chilling, personal connection between the Cures, their enemies, and the central mystery of the baby Hugtan and the enigmatic figure of George Kurai. By the final arc, the stakes are not just global but deeply emotional, culminating in a spectacular, time-spanning climax that affirms the show's core message—that "everyone's tomorrow is worth protecting"—and delivers a deeply moving, definitive conclusion that provides powerful, future-facing closure for every single main character.

I also enjoyed the former villains of Criasu Corporation having normal lives and was pleasant to see them as kids in the final episode which were determined to have their own Corporation just Hana herself in 2030 (I put what I see in the series, not all I put is accurate)



Downsides of the season:
Cure Tomorrow's Role: The identity of Hugtan as Cure Tomorrow, while a satisfying reveal, is seen as a missed opportunity. Some fans wanted to see Cure Tomorrow fight alongside Cure Yell as an adult in the present-day timeline to fully realize the "future" theme, rather than just using the past form of the baby.

Homare (Cure Etoile): While she has a great early arc dealing with trauma and figure skating, her character designs as a precure is what made me favor the others, she enjoys ice skating, but her precure theme was confusing for some of the audience, her design resembling likely a flight attendant.

Saaya (Cure Ange):
I love lots of things about her[Not because she is a blue Cure]..but because her defense ability lacks in the series, sure she has her shielding, but she fails to use it most of the time being, causing my opinions on her to be lower

Despite these flaws, the season's successful handling of its main themes, Hana's exceptional development, and the emotional impact of the finale are typically seen as strong enough to override these issues, which is why it maintains its status as one of the best.

Overall Score:(9/10)

And time to rewatch a series i watched in early March of 2024, Star Twinkle Precure! KIRAYABA(Twincool!)
