As a recording artist, the Nigerian multihyphenate is the voice behind afropop hits “Pour Me Water,” “Skin Tight” (featuring Efya) and “Leg Over,” as well as groundbreaking collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé, Bad Bunny and J Balvin. In 2016, whilst trying to promote my 1st ever December Concert In Lagos Nigeria, I coined the now famous Term #DettyDecember as the tagline for the event, shortly after that I created my festival called #DettyRave and 27th December 2023 marked the 5th instalment of the festival in the presence of over 10,000 Ravers in Accra Ghana coming to enjoy the 1st of its kind African DJ Led Event that some one called “an outdoor African Clubbing experience with Dance Inspired Production” wanna say a big thank You to my entire Team & all the partners involved in making this Happen! I’m excited for the next 5 years of Detty Rave and the prospect of improving the offering and taking it to other parts of Africa & soon globally!
