Some beginnings mean more than words can express.

On the auspicious occasion of Amavasya, coinciding with Purattasi Saturday, we carried out the first fetal procedure at my own centre—a deeply personal milestone.

While this is an established procedure in fetal medicine, doing it for the first time in a space I have built with so much hope and love fills my heart with pride, gratitude and a profound sense of blessing.

To the family who placed their trust in us, thank you. Caring for a little life even before birth is a responsibility I hold close to my heart. This first milestone will always remain special. 🙏

A rewarding weekend of learning and sharing perspectives at Fetal Dialogues 2026 in Gurugram.

It was a pleasure to serve as a convener for the Doppler Workshop and speak on “Acquiring Dopplers – Have We Mastered the Technique? Practical Tips and Pitfalls”, focusing on MCA/CPR. I also participated in the session “UTD at Anomaly Scan – Simple or Sinister?”

Fortunate to save a life before birth — yet again, within the same week. 🧿

A challenging case of monochorionic diamniotic twin pregnancy complicated by Type II selective fetal growth restriction (sFGR) in one twin.

To give the co-twin the best chance, microwave ablation of the affected twin was performed. With an anterior placenta and no safe window for transamniotic entry, the procedure required a carefully planned transplacental approach.

A technically challenging procedure that demanded precision, planning and expertise — with one precious goal: to give the co-twin a chance at life. 🤍

Grateful to be able to make a difference, one life at a time, even before birth.
