Student Achievement | Industrial Training
Suraiya Bhati, a final-year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student at Mody University of Science and Technology, has successfully completed a 45-day Industrial Training at Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Plant (RGTPP), Khedar.

During the training, she gained hands-on exposure to the functioning of a 2×600 MW coal-based thermal power plant, exploring key areas such as power generation, boiler systems, steam turbines, generators, water treatment, ash handling, and other essential plant operations. This experience provided valuable practical insights, strengthening her technical knowledge and bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial applications.

The School of Law, Mody University of Science and Technology, commenced its Orientation Programme 2026 on 1 August 2026, welcoming its newest batch with blessings, faculty introductions, and a warm welcome address by the Dean-in-Charge.
The day gained further depth as Shri Ratan Lal Moond, District and Sessions Judge (Retd.), spoke on ‘Ethics, Integrity and the Legal Profession’, drawing on his years on the Bench. Cyber law expert Dr Nisheeth Dixit then kept engaged the students in a sharp, practical session on staying online safety, ‘Think Before You Click’.
The day concluded with ‘Glimpses of Law School’, a video presentation showcasing the journey of the School of Law journey.
