Happy Monday.

I just wanted to hop on here and encourage all of you. I had the most wonderful time on the live yesterday. You all are amazing. You really know how to take an old girl down memory lane and remind me of the good things in life.

And that is what I want to talk about today.

Yes, life brings hard moments. Yes, bad things happen. But sometimes we have to pause, step back, and do what the old saints used to say and count our blessings. Remember the good things. Hold onto the joy.

And while we are at it, let us talk about loving ourselves.

God created you on purpose. In His image. He took His time with you. You were not rushed, overlooked, or thrown together. The Bible tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and if we do not love ourselves, it can be hard to truly love others.

So today, I want you to intentionally show up for yourself.
Show up with confidence.
Show up with grace.
Show up without shrinking.

Because if you are not showing up for you, Baaaaabbbby, who else gonna show up for you?

Be your biggest supporter. And never forget that God is always on your side.

I hope you are having an amazing Monday. I hope you look in the mirror today, smile, and say, ooh wee, God really did His thing when He made me ✨

Let’s talk about that brick wall moment.

That moment when you’re praying, seeking God, believing for something… and instead of an answer, there’s a delay.

A lot of times, delay is either protection, preparation, or God knowing you’re not ready yet. Sometimes He’s working behind the scenes on the very thing you’re asking for 🙏🏽

Let me give you an example.

One day, I was getting my kids ready to go out. We were planning to head to the grocery store, but before we even left the house, I could not find my car keys.

Y’all, I looked everywhere.
Toy boxes. Under the bed. Under the mattress. Nothing.

I even prayed. And usually when I pray, it never fails. I find those keys within minutes.

But not this time.

I didn’t find my keys until about 30 minutes later ⏳

Once we finally left and headed in the direction we originally planned to go, there was a vehicle flipped over on that very road. The exact direction we would have been driving earlier.

That delay was protection 🛑

So when prayers go unanswered it may be God says no, or not right now, it’s always for a reason. He is wise, and He knows exactly what He’s doing.

It’s the same when raising our children. When we say no, it’s for a good reason. When we say not right now, it’s because we know they’re not ready yet. They may want it, but maturity matters.

The waiting process isn’t always bad. Sometimes it’s saving you. Sometimes it’s shaping you ✨

“Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.”

Hey Fam fam 💕 let’s talk for a minute.
Older folks, this one’s for us.
Young folks, stay right here too, because we love you 🤍

There’s something that happens as you get older. You get a little more unbothered. You learn how to say no. You learn how to rest, sit down, relax, and actually check on your health 🧠💆🏽‍♀️
Because the older you get, the more you realize time matters, and at the same time, you finally learn how to enjoy life.

When you’re younger, you worry about things that later on you look back at and think, why was I even stressed about that? Why was I losing sleep over it? That’s just part of growing 🌱

These are the lessons we get to share with our kids. They may not listen right away, but seeds are being planted. One day they may come back and say, you were right. That really wasn’t as big as I thought 💭

With age comes wisdom, even with the gray hair. We learn to rest. We learn to say no. And we learn how to pass that wisdom on 🙏🏽
So today, sit your kids down and share a little of your life story. I promise you, it matters.

We’re going to continue to be unbothered.

When we say we’re unbothered, we truly mean it. This year is just getting started. One month down, eleven more to go, so let’s get it together. Let’s keep running. Let’s keep pushing 💪🏽💕

But let me give y’all a little storytime, because this didn’t come from nowhere.

My husband and I went through one of the hardest seasons of our lives in 2023. He lost his job. I was out here pushing gig work, homeschooling, taking another kid to college, and still trying to put food on the table. When I tell y’all the struggle was real, it was real real.

Even our car, Big Bertha, was barely hanging on back then. And y’all already know she’s completely down right now 😅💕 But at that time, she was still rolling. I remember pulling Big Bertha into the driveway, getting ready to back out to do one more gig for the night. Then I heard a loud ping. The passenger side wheel seized up. The brakes slid all the way down between the rotor and the wheel. Just like that, we were not going anywhere that night.

That could have been another moment to get discouraged. And trust me, that season had plenty of ups and downs. But I didn’t get discouraged. I live by this saying. If God stops something, it’s either to protect me or to sit me down and let me rest because He can handle it all 💕🙏🏽

Life will hit you. Hard.
There will be seasons that don’t feel fair.
There will be days that feel heavy.

But even then, you still get to choose joy.

Because the Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:8–9 that we are pressed on every side but not crushed. Perplexed but not in despair. Persecuted but not abandoned. Struck down but not destroyed 💕

So stay unbothered ✨💕
Choose joy on purpose 💕
Enjoy your life 💕
Keep moving forward 🚶🏽‍♀️💪🏽💕

And as always, keep God first and let Him do the rest 🙏🏽✨💕

Hey Fam fam, let me tell y’all something.

2026… we’re choosing to live an unbothered life, even with the chaos of raising kids and everything else under the sun. We’re staying strong in faith, steady, and firm in what we believe.

We’re starting a new series right here on these community posts called The 2026 Whole Body Reset. We’re resetting our mind, body, spirit, and soul. No worries. No pressure. Just real life, real growth, real faith encouragement.

And with that said… let’s talk about faith.

Because I’m about to drop a picture of me looking a little crazy 😅 and I don’t want us looking like that in 2026. We’re learning to let go of the stress, the cares, and the things that stretch us thin.

Yes, even Big Bertha… my AKA Ford Expedition that refuses to cooperate. And the unruly children who don’t wanna eat their peas and carrots. We’re putting it all in God’s hands.

We are de-stressing. We are standing in faith. Because baby, let me tell you something… when your faith grows and your roots go deep in God, life can’t take you out. Even stepping on Legos in the middle of the night won’t take you out 😭 you’ll still be standing strong in the Lord.

The Bible tells us,
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:17.

It all starts with building a faith foundation. Because no stable life is built without one. You have to build your life on Christ.

Hey Fam Fam 💖 and happy Monday

Let me start with this. Some of y’all have been pushing, striving, and grinding, and you’re wondering when you’re finally going to birth the dream God placed in your heart. You’re asking yourself when this thing is going to come to pass🙃

Hear me clearly. Do not give up. Do not lose hope. Do not lose faith. What God laid in your heart was intentional, and He is faithful to bring it to completion

There will be days when you get tired, and on those days, it is okay to take a break. Sit down. Lay it aside. Put it in God’s hands and rest. But when God says to pick it back up and run the race, you get back up and you run🙌🏽

Because you are not running alone. God is right there with you, giving you strength and guiding every step.

Sometimes we also have to learn how to be content in the grinding season. Content right where God has us. Not because it feels good, but because He is present there too. Remember God is NEVER Late!

As the Bible says,
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13

He will give you the strength to stay steady, stay faithful, and remain content right where you are until that breakthrough comes!

I’m here to drop a little encouragement and some content love today. Let me tell you one thing I know for sure. Small beginnings matter.

If you’re starting out and things are not where you want them to be yet, if you’re waiting on that big finish and it hasn’t shown up, please do not despise where you are right now. Those small beginnings are where the training happens. That’s where you learn. That’s where you grow. That’s where you figure out what works and what doesn’t.

This season is not wasted. It’s your training ground. So enjoy it. Embrace it. Because it’s preparing you for something greater than you can see right now.

let me say something right here. Ain’t nothing harder than trying to take a profile picture at age 47 😅 At this age nobody really wants to update their profile picture but listen we gotta keep it real. We are not catfishing nobody over here 😂 When we pull up in live chat we are gonna look just like that profile picture because I am not trying to hear nobody say girl mmm mmm that ain’t you in the live.

Y’all really showed what the Bible talks about when it says being friendly and gaining friends because when I tell you y’all was looking out for this old girl right here. 😂💛

I’m gonna drop a picture over here of my last baby because listen I’m a mom to 8 and that 8th baby is the one that gave me these gray hairs, but I am so grateful to still be here and able to celebrate another birthday We had an amazing time.

So y’all know my birthday is tomorrow, but I decided to celebrate today. Because listen, once you pass your 40s and slide into your mid 40s, not everybody is trying to celebrate their birthday every single year anymore 😂 You celebrate, blow the candles out, everybody says happy birthday, and you keep it moving. Woohoo 🎉

But one thing I really want to say is this. As we get older, and yes, we are all getting older, celebrate life. Live life on purpose. Choose joy.

Life will always have ups and downs. That part is guaranteed. But joy is a choice. Sometimes joy looks like feeling the sun hit your face. Sometimes it is taking a deep breath. Sometimes it is sitting in silence and being thankful you made it through another day.

Joy does not mean life is perfect. It means you chose to see the blessing anyway.

So yes, happy birthday to me 🎂🎈
And I hope this Bible verse encourages you throughout the week
