Day one of Form 1B in the books and what a full day it was! Things actually went smoother than I thought they would, even with a baby who refused(!) to nap and a very busy toddler.
Highlights were making islands in the sand tray, pony bead bracelet making, Aesop’s Fables notebooking, and some very fun Beacon Reader word drill games. Thank goodness for the timetable or I would likely have never gotten to any of this! I truly cannot wait to see what the coming days bring.

I am currently in the process of setting up a homeschool space in our formal dining room. Shelves are still a work in progress, hence the mess, but I added a lamp today and it made it SO cozy, even in the midst of all the chaos. I’m trying to film snippets of the whole process so I can make a video of the transformation! Tomorrow the plan is to pick up a vintage kids desk that I found on Craigslist for FREE and I can not wait!

I went to my favorite local (large) book sale earlier this week and was able to score quite the haul! I got many in the science and nature category for the kids as well as a few John Muir titles for myself. I can’t wait to film this and share soon!
