Happy EASTER, from Guanajuato México! It's such a special day, today!
Our savior has RISEN! ✝️

We took some family photos since we were all dressed up and I wanted to share. 💗
I'll definitely be printing these off and putting them in frames along with older photos for a family photo wall 🧱 in our new home here in México 🇲🇽.

I'll share more of our day here in a bit! We are resting after a delicious dinner.

Happy Good Friday, friends and family ❤️

This sacrifice was ment for us all!
Let's recieve it with a life for Him and continued faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Whether you're fasting, sharing a meal with friends and family, or just taking a moment of gratitude, we join you this evening.

We are sharing a "Mexican" tuna salad on tortillas with side of guacamole and chips and then we are gathering for an evening with our Bibles and each other.

God bless us all and have a great evening 🙏

¡Este sacrificio fue para todos nosotros! Recibámoslo con una vida dedicada a Él y una fe continua en nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Ya sea que estén ayunando, compartiendo una comida con amigos y familiares, o simplemente tomando un momento de gratitud, nos unimos a ustedes esta noche.

Compartiremos una ensalada de atún "mexicana" en tortillas con guacamole y totopos, y luego nos reuniremos para una velada con nuestras Biblias y entre nosotros.

I'm having some sopa at my table tonight as I try to finish up my sewing project before the gardening comes full swing this spring.

This winter I tried to teach myself how to quilt starting with a rag quilt, a beginner project.

It's not perfect but only He is, right? ❤️

We made it to Minnesota and started on our quest to visit my side of the family starting with our oldest son, Dylan, my father and my father's mother. ❤️

I have many videos to share already and will be working on them and get them out soon!

I can't believe we are leaving!

We all have such mixed feelings.🫤

We are so grateful for the opportunity to go see family and travel back during the winter for the snow fun but are also pretty upset that Pa, again, can't join us, not even for a visit.

I'll never understand why the United States wouldn't accept my best friend and husband and the father of our children who are U.S citizens and allow him to be with us in the U.S or even just travel with us back, temporarily.

The only thing we can do is accept it and try to work with it.

So, here we are,

At the airport and ready for our flight on Viva to Dallas!

Some of us will see you soon family and friends ❤️ Maybe in the future all of us can come!

¡No puedo creer que nos vayamos!
Todos tenemos sentimientos encontrados. 🫤

Estamos muy agradecidos por la oportunidad de ver a la familia y viajar de regreso durante el invierno para disfrutar de la nieve, pero también estamos bastante molestos porque Pa, una vez más, no puede acompañarnos, ni siquiera de visita.

Nunca entenderé por qué Estados Unidos no aceptó a mi mejor amigo, esposo y padre de nuestros hijos, que son ciudadanos estadounidenses, y no le permitió estar con nosotros en Estados Unidos o incluso viajar con nosotros de regreso, temporalmente. Lo único que podemos hacer es aceptarlo e intentar adaptarnos. Así que, aquí estamos, en el aeropuerto y listos para nuestro vuelo en Viva a Dallas.

Algunos de nosotros los veremos pronto, familia y amigos ❤️ ¡Quizás en el futuro todos podamos ir!

After service today, we walked to a piece of land that was gifted to Pa by his late mother and enjoyed a picnic lunch together.

We celebrated Paloma's birthday yesterday!
Our oldest daughter is already 20 years old. 💓
We took her to do a little shopping and then came home and fixed up an "American" taco bar and of course some birthday cake.

Paloma, Pa and I continue to be so proud of you in all that you do.
May the Lord continue to bless you in this new year of life as you continue to grow into such a beautiful young lady.
We love you so much. ❤️

La llevamos de compras y luego, al volver a casa, preparamos una taquería americana y, por supuesto, un pastel de cumpleaños.

We are making Pa's Tamales tonight!

Yep, Pa's recipe and he has been making them for us for the last 15 years!
Since Paloma was 5!
They are a pork tamale 🫔 in a thick red salsa and they are by far the best 👌
