📢 Join us LIVE on IFGSTL'S YouTube for Episode 4 of MYSTL's 'Fortifying Faith' series on *Saturday, Feb. 27th at 7pm CST*, with special guest, Dr. Abdullah Hamid Ali of Zaytuna College!

❓ *What Will We Discuss?*
The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade sourced many of the modern issues surrounding race, slavery, and human rights. Article Four of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights prohibits all forms of slavery. Many Islamic civilizations, however, had institutions that have been translated as “slavehood”. What is the Islamic definition of slavery? Is slavery Islamic? Where does the Western conception of slavery diverge from the Muslim institutions of the past?
