There’s a common misconception
that your heartbreak is
only real if you’re going through a breakup. However, your heart can express
pain in various ways.
Whether you’re single,
dating, partnered, married,
lost a loved one,
finding yourself again after motherhood
or going through a
significant life transition,
we as living beings
all have a heart
and thus, experience painful emotions regardless of our labels.

Heartbreak can be the betrayal
that fractured your trust,
the slow erosion of emotional connection, the unrequited love,
the collapse of a shared dream,
the realization that
you abandoned yourself
to keep someone,
the unknowing of who you are
and what you want,
the no longer feeling aliveness,
the letting go of a world
that’s no longer you,
to the yearning of uniting
with your one true love.

This is why the title of this book is
“heartbreak” and not “breakups” because you don’t need to
be exclusive to someone to get your heart broken. We are all
capable of feeling this at some point in our lives! As you read
this book, allow yourself to feel the shared humanity woven
through these experiences, witnessing it all including your
own.
This book is written through a feminine heart, through the
lens of the goddess, the cyclical, the intuitive, the embodied,
the archetypal. But the feminine does not belong to women
alone. It lives in all of us. If you feel drawn to soften, to feel,
