Brandon Yates is a primary composer for Death Battle, a web series approaching 2 billion views on YouTube.
In 2024, Brandon hit #27 on YouTube's trending worldwide with the standalone track "Game Over" from the Bowser vs Eggman Death Battle.
He navigated Rooster Teeth's closure by remastering his catalog, later restoring tracks through the Save Death Battle Kickstarter.
Beyond Death Battle, Brandon has created 700+ commissioned tracks for fans, plus music for video games, commercials, and films. He's also launched GhostWalker, a metal project with collaborators Matt Bernal, Logan Adams, and Anthony DiGiacomo, releasing their debut EP "Ruptura" in 2024.
When not composing, Brandon studies languages, plays chess, and watches anime.
His music has reached millions worldwide.

Preemptively answered a lot of questions in my last post, but a reminder this is the last chance with the current pricing!
My own cut will be the same, price changes coming are about paying my team.

I'll be reopening commissions on Monday, and leaving the form up for 2 weeks.
If you're waiting on an instrumental from me, there's about a 70% chance it's already done. If the instrumental isn't done, it should be by the end of this year, possibly up to mid January at the latest at the current pace I'm working.
I've been grinding the music work really hard and kind of neglecting everything else
My fiancee is stepping in to help correct for this, so after I get her caught up on how to handle her side of things, communication/updates should improve a lot.
With the new guest composing team I've been working with, nobody will ever have to wait over a year on a track again. We're going to launch with a 4 month purchase-to-completion speed, and move it to 3 months as we get used to the workflow. My goal is 2 months if possible.
This will also be the last batch at the current pricing! I'm still taking the same amount for my own part, but want to pay my team members better (Art, Music, and Admin). I didn't want to surprise anyone with that without giving one more chance at the current price, so I'm actually taking a pay cut on these.
As for vocal commissions, I am still bottlenecked a fair bit by lyric writing, but once the instrumentals are caught up I'll be dedicating two full workdays per week to lyrics, vocals, and coordinating guest vocalists, which will have them coming out a lot more consistently.
