You have to watch this! https://youtu.be/CVnh-Fs9F8I "Welcome to another edition of the Salt City Index! My name is Mo Moodie, and I am excited to bring you another episode with a special guest. Today, we have Yvonne, a massive activist and shaker in the community. You want to hear what she has to say! During our conversation, Yvonne brought up some important issues, such as the potential contract between Onondaga County and other counties to house overflow inmates. This raises concerns about access to medical treatment for those incarcerated in different counties. We need to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals, regardless of their location. Furthermore, Yvonne highlighted the challenges faced by parents in the community, particularly when it comes to housing and education. Many families struggle to find suitable housing, and the lack of resources and support adds to their difficulties. Education is another area that needs attention, as some parents feel unheard and face obstacles in advocating for their children's needs. There are dark secrets and systemic issues within the city of Syracuse. We must continue to raise awareness, demand transparency, and work towards positive change. Let's come together as a community and support each other. I want to thank Yvone for sharing her insights and experiences. Her voice is crucial, and we need to listen and take action. π’π Exciting News! Check out my latest YouTube video discussing the transit problem in Syracuse! ππ
You know, my opposition has been talking about the transit problem a lot, and all I've been hearing is really high, fluffy problem statements and very few solutions, if any at all. If you can find a solution from that rhetoric or talk point, please let me know. But let's put this topic to bed, okay?
In my new video, I dive deep into the transit situation, presenting both the problem and the solution. π₯ππ‘
The issue is simple: there aren't enough buses running in Syracuse to cater to our constituents who don't have access to cars, regardless of their economic status. This affects their ability to reach important destinations like work and healthcare facilities. ππ₯πΌπ
I present some compelling case studies that showcase potential solutions. For instance, some people suggest using short buses, which cost less over their lifespan. However, the downside is that these buses don't last as long as their larger counterparts. π€π
But fear not! Here's the game-changing solution: twelve-passenger vans. πβ
This idea isn't new; it has been successfully implemented overseas in places like Belarus and Israel. Additionally, Brooklyn, New York, implemented a similar system called the dollar van system to address transportation issues. ππΊοΈππ²
So, if you're interested in a practical solution to the transit problem and want to explore an idea that benefits our county, check out my video! Don't waste any more time on empty rhetoric. Let's have a meaningful conversation about improving transportation! π¬ππ£οΈπ

Hey there, welcome back to another "Monday Morning with Mo" episode! Today, I thought I would share a personal story with you about my recent banking experience. It was quite an ordeal, but I think it really taught me a valuable lesson about working under pressure. Have you ever had a similar experience? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic.
I had the privilege of being a guest speaker at the "Moms for Liberty - Onondaga County, NY chapter," where I addressed a room full of devoted parents. It was inspiring to see so many parents who are passionate about ensuring their children's education and future success. I shared my own experiences and insights on how parents can play an active role in their children's education and development. The audience was engaged, and I received many thoughtful questions and comments. If you enjoyed my speech, please consider showing your support by liking and subscribing to the channel.
