I spent some time this morning really thinking about how 2025 went for me, the good and the bad. On the one hand, I spent a lot of time honestly assessing everything I was doing and making the effort to change the negative and grow the positive.
This year I started a new business, became more clear minded about my other business, and started making room for the creative stuff I had been letting slide for years.
I got on a weight loss program and started a medication to help with my adhd.
Meanwhile, I need to exercise more, I need to figure out how to effectively manage my time and regain some discipline that I’ve lost somehow in the past decade.
Most of all, I need to get better at giving myself grace and embracing the journey more.
What are you focused on as the year comes to an end?

When I was making the series I felt like it was important to have the conversations we had, but it also was super stressful and kind of made me feel like crap a lot of the time. I'm conflicted about going back to that well for that reason.

ZI've come to a sad realization after using Android exclusively for the past 6 months:

iOS sucks. Bad. Embarrasingly so.

Why?

1. App Library. Have you ever tried to find an app in there? Apple automatically dumps them into inscrutable categories and if an app isn't 1 of the 3 on top, good luck figuring it out.

2. Widgets. Apple didn't understand why widgest were attractive to people. They still don't. it's what, 5 years later and still no clock widget for the home screen? I could go on. Tweets are too short.

It's like Apple stopped studying how people used their phones in 2010.

3. iOS Where to begin? Liquid Glass? They updated it so you can no have tinted or clear liquid glass. How about "off"?

And the icons...the fat, bubbly icons. Can't have an empty page or collect them in groups as you might prefer. They start at the top. Since 2007. SINCE 2007!!!

I could go on, but I want to hear from you. What annoys you about iOS?
