Yes yoriichi can do what he did to muzan, however, dkt has became immune to the nichirin blade and the sun; which is what powers yoriichis sword so henceforth he can't beat dkt. He's stronger, however dkt outlasts yoriichi in a fight then beats him.
"Just the sword can kill bro" No. No it cannot. The sword is significantly weaker without the sun, and without sun breathing, I can come to the conclusion that the sword would barely scratch dkt even with how fast yoriichi is. He would also be slower since sun breathing makes him faster as well. Yoriichis 13th form also prevented muzan from healing, which isn't a factor against dkt so therefore dkt outlasts yoriichi
